Ah, I see, so it's important for it to be commission-quality.

tl;dr: glue it with the process I recommended and Barge, Weldwood, or equivalent; if you have time and resources to stitch it down after that, you can. Glue will never be as permanent and nice-looking as stitching, but Barge is significantly superior to any craft glue I've used, so it will probably do the job anyway.

Unfortunately, if you don't have time to custom-commission the boots, I don't think stitching it on is really going to work well (stitching before construction is much, much easier) - and doing a professional-looking job of stitched leather overlay requires special equipment (if machine sewing) and some practice. This is a super well-written book on it, if you're curious. https://www.amazon.com/Art-Leather-Inlay-Overlay-Techniques/dp/0764351214

The special roller foot is absolutely required, and it's easiest to use on an industrial machine (particularly with the matching feed dog and throat plate); however, there are some home machines that have a similar foot (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wplg5DlmsZ8), and a high shank home machine might be able to take the industrial foot (it will fit on the needle bar, but there might not be enough space above it for the hinge on a flip-up model). I recently retrofit my industrial garment machine to set it up for this kind of work, so if you have a suitable industrial, PM me and I can walk you through it.

That said, stitching and gluing aren't mutually exclusive; since leather can't be pinned, most people glue before stitching. If you're planning to stitch it, you don't have to use a glue quite as durable as Barge, but Barge will work just fine.

I like a slim wallet , I’ve been looking at the Bellroy note sleeve but I keep hearing some bad things although it seems really nice . I also just found this wallet on amazon (one in the picture) but I’m not sure if the quality will be up there to last years .

I like the idea of it being slim while still having a “note” compartment. Also I’m in Canada so it needs to actually be big enough to fit our currency.

If anyone knows of a brand or someone who makes these but can keep it slim , please comment !

Thanks!

Edit:

Styles I was looking at:

This one?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006MXRWU/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_bqsGAbB0T4M50

Once I get more tools and hopefully sell some items, the funds will towards better and more tools, including a creaser for the pocket tops.

Sorry to ask so much but that’s why I enjoy investing time in this hobby thanks to a community with people like you. With more practice and experience I hope to contribute my knowledge to beginners!

I use a regular ole japenese skiving knife and also a "safety skiver"
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IVS667Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_VQKoDbN9DVCAK

With the safety skiver I would definitely say you need some practice on scrap and to be careful because you can easily go all the way through thin leather like that.

Yes it's this one

For your thread, what color is it? And can you try to guess what the thickness is?

Here is my terrible drawing of what I'm looking for

The knife engages when it hooks on the inside of the pocket and pivots outwards.

Youtube video of the mechanism in action

This is a similar "bag" from amazon

The amazon bag doesn't look very durable and it looks very "Tacti-cool" I want something that could hook onto the waistband of my pants and have a loop that I can secure it around my leg so it doesn't move around.

Could it be pinking shears? Here are some for $40

If you find no other option yoiu could potentially use angled 4-prong lacing / thonging chisels, and just (very carefully) punch from both sides.
