Hop over on /r/watches (suggestions at the bottom cuz I went too far)

Some things you should know about the watch market though.

MRSP is always the highest amount a watch will go for (except for rare pieces like Rolex or Limited Edition).

Grey Market Price is a term used when talking about new watches that don't come from the manufacturer. They're usually 40% to 20% cheaper than the sticker price. The difference here is that they're similar to OEM products. They still come with all the packaging, but you don't get warranty (most of the time). If you're buying Grey Market I would suggest LongIslandWatch.com.

Don't be afraid to buy used. You can get some really solid pieces used. All of the watches in my collection are 2nd hand and I've only had an issue with one (I damaged it lol). /r/watchexchange is good. I don't trust eBay as much, and then there are other watch forums like Watch You Seek. For used you can expect something cheaper than Grey Market price. YMMV.

There are a couple of types of watches.

Dress - These are for formal occasions. They're usually the more plain watches but sometimes have Day/Date, Moonphase, etc.

Sports - These usually have a higher water resistance rating and can take more abuse. Most sports watches can be further broken down to Divers or Pilots.

Divers - These are the chunky watches you'll see with the ring around them that moves. They're probably one of the more eye catching ones to non-watch enthusiasts.

Pilot - These are similar to Divers but are typically more about function and have big numbers.

There are tons of styles and categories, but that should be enough to help you look for what you like.

Suggestions: Seiko and Orient can give you the best options under $200. They have some options above them or well below as well. If you still can't get used to the styling of some of these watches then I guess Invicta and Skagen will do the job. I prefer Skagen over Fossil, Invicta, etc. though.

Model| Price| Info
---|---|----
Seiko SKX | ~$200 | This one is a great daily watch. Goes with many outfits. The 007 and 009 are the same just different colors. 013 is a bit smaller. Strong modding community.
Seiko 5 | $50 - $150 | This is actually a line from Seiko not a model. I can't pick a specific model since everyone's tastes are different. If the watches are too small, Seiko also has the Recraft series. Those are generally bigger.
Bulova Accutron II | $150 - $200 | I typically don't like Quartz watches but Bulova offers the cheapest and smoothest second hand (My Rollie don't tick tock). This one is also a line, not a model.
Orient Bambino | ~$150 | Great dress watch. There are different versions and generations. The version (V) describes the style. There are currently 4 versions with multiple color variations. The Generation (G) is just like when Apple makes a new phone (iPhone 6 vs iPhone 7). Strap is kinda shitty. If you like the open heart I would recommend going with the Esteem instead.
Orient Ray/Mako | ~$180 | The Ray and the Mako are 2 different models, but they're both solid options if you're not a fan of the Seiko SKX. These can be considered better since they have hacking. I still prefer the SKX.

I got one a few years ago from the Univision Deportes shop. It is the match ball (not the rep) and it was like 30 bucks because it was a season behind. I don't see them on there rn but worth a look. You can also get em on amazon tho...

I got this one, love it. https://www.ebay.com/p/Voit-Official-FIFA-Quality-Size-5-Soccer-Ball-Liga-MX-2016-BBVA-Dynamo-2-0/1857587669?iid=262800315734
