This is the RAE-711 MPX speedloader. I bought it in hopes of saving my oh so delicate thumbs for PCC competition and courses.
It cost $25 on Amazon and was eligible for Prime free shipping.
Pros:

  • Relatively cheap
  • It actually works (see below)
  • My thumbs are not as chewed up after loading 500 rounds in a couple days
  • I haven't broken it yet
    Cons:
  • It feels 3d printed cheap
  • The mag has to be perfectly aligned to press the rounds in. Much easier to do sitting on a solid surface.
  • I'm not sure it's any faster than just loading mags the regular way

Overall I'm not sure it's any faster than just loading mags, but it keeps your thumbs off the metal feed lips so there's that.
I wish it had a way to pick up rounds out of a box ala Yetiwurks CZ Scorpion speedloader.

I haven't posted in a while, sorry if I'm nubbing this up but couldn't figure out how to post an image and text?! Anyway, this is the case: Gator GK-2110 Gig Bag for Micro Controllers (22.5" x 11.5" x 4") https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002GL7ZO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_Tgza5wCBZn6cf

I used Kaizen foam, 57mm for the inside. My setup isn't anything flashy, haven't had time or money to do much extra to it yet, but I figured you'd guys might like this case if you want an option for the 8" barrel with collapsible am brace, or setups of similar length. This case is very lightweight yet padded enough to provide decent protection for trips to the range or just having it in my trunk. It's also somewhat discrete and not tactical looking.
