Damn that's was fast! My shade is never on but I'm glad it worked out for you! lol

So what I've read and my experience with it aren't the same, the suggested use is using a very fine liner brush to pick up "a rice grain" amount and either applying as concealer blending with the same brush or dabbing over your face and blending with a large blending brush or sponge (for this I think you would need to have well hydrated skin) as well mixing with a moisturizer/sunscreen/etc for a lighter coverage.

How I've been using my tiny sample pot is taking small amounts (more than recommended apparently) and dotting on the areas I want to conceal/even out then blending with this ancient but super soft kabuki brush but I don't buff in circles because that feels a bit rough on my skin rather drag the brush gently to make sure it blends with my skintone (though my sample pot isn't quite my shade right now so this will be less work for you).

To conceal I use this flat blending brush to lightly layer, since my skin is dry I don't follow up with powder to set but YMMV.

I think Sephora has a video on the product page on how to use if you want to check it out!

edit: If anyone is in the NC50 range there are STILL 2 in stock for $25 as well there's a bunch of KA stuff reduced since it's the last couple of items in stock including blushes, for the rest of us still waiting for our shade to drop consider signing up for price notification on camelcamelcamel.com :)

Link is below. It even comes in a pack of 3 for better value. I haven’t tried the cosrx ones, but I’ve tried these Stridex ones. They didn’t change my life. They are like Holy Grail status on the Skin Care Addiction subreddit tho. Also recommend searching amazon for the cosrx pads if you like them! There’s lots of Asian beauty items available.

It looks like you have nice skin so you probably don't need that much foundation unless that's the look you're going for! The colour might be too cool-toned and pale, too. What about just wearing a tinted moisturizer or BB cream or whatever, and some cream or liquid blush? Maybe have the blush cover a wider area, placed a bit more like where a spray of freckles would be and blended out. If you have really dark circles under your eyes (can't tell) maybe use just a little bit of yellow-toned corrective concealer in the middle, blended out well so there isn't that white 'u' effect. The blush could overlap it some. To me you look like a perfect candidate for Glossier-style makeup 😊 Some people's faces can take tons of makeup and still look natural; you look like someone who doesn't need much at all. Not sure what your brows are like but I'd make them on the darker side with a liquid pen like this https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0025X0PCS/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_5?smid=A3BMTK3TFIAEPB&psc=1 .

I recommend the Bed Head Curlipops one! I have this one and it's great. My hair is thick(ish) but the hairs themselves are quite fine if that makes sense. This one gives me such nice curls and I always get compliments when I use it!

Jerdon JGL9W Tabletop Tri-Fold Two-Sided Lighted Makeup Mirror with 5x Magnification and 4-Light Settings, White Finish https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0000AFUT3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_MEvhDb14ZPWFP

I bought this one from Amazon and I’ve been really happy with it so far. The different light settings are very helpful.

I've tried quite a few gel moisturizers and Clinique DDMG was my HG for years, but I've recently switched to this!

I haven't found it anywhere in stores, but it's always on Amazon for about the same price. I find it's a bit more moisturizing than the Clinique, but still dries quickly and isn't greasy. I'm dehydrated-oily and I love it.

If you don't have them already, Amazon has The Balm products like Betty/Mary/Cindy Lou Manizers, which are priced like $10 cheaper than at Rexall, and have free shipping because they're over $25.

I really like this one: https://www.amazon.ca/Dr-G-Gowoonsesang-Brightening-Peeling-120ml/dp/B007TFW0B6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1511223607&sr=8-1&keywords=dr.+g+brightening+peeling+gel&dpID=31y043MaCsL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

It is probably the only skin care product I've used that actually makes a difference in how my skin feels. (Side note: I experimented with Sunday Riley Good Genes by using it every day for a few months just on one side of my face, because I wanted to see if the difference in my skin would be worth the money. It made no difference at all; but maybe that's a good thing, given the cost!)

Hada Labo is my holy grail and it's also one of the most popular and recommended ones on both r/skincareaddiction and r/asianbeauty.

You can get it at Asian stores like Ocean's or T&T or order online for cheaper. It's foaming but it has a low pH so it won't strip your face. The foam is so soft like bathing in clouds. Highly recommend and it doesn't hurt that it's cheaper than Sephora brands.

I never check luggage, so everything has to fit in my carry-on bag. Muji has lots of really tiny travel-sized containers. I usually try to minimize the amount of liquids I bring: makeup wipes instead of remover, powder foundation instead of liquid, etc. I like this quart-sized bag for liquids because the zipper is on the side instead of the top. (I've had a bunch of "reusable" bags break, including the one they sell at Sephora.)

I bought a muji 2-drawer in Toronto a few weeks ago and I LOVE it. It was $25ish?

I also have these

They're nice, but the muji drawers are much sturdier.

Actually instead you should try these exfoliating Italy Towels that they use for Korean Scrubs, I just got them on amazon.ca https://www.amazon.com/pcs-Asian-Exfoliating-Bath-Washcloth/dp/B004C8DR1U and I love them, I just use them in the shower before your body wash/soaps/ shaving, I usually use them once a week after after my hair step, so that my skin gets softer from the water. They are reusable too.

Fingers crossed!! My absolute favourite I get there is the Leaders Insolution Aquaringer mask. It hydrates and plumps my skin up like nothing else! It's usually $35 for 10 there but I just found it on Amazon for $25

I remember seeing it for $24~ on Amazon about two months ago but it has obviously jumped a lot since then. Use camelcamelcamel to track the prices on Amazon. https://ca.camelcamelcamel.com/theBalm-Mary-Lou-Manizer-2-20-Oz/product/B0065I8MC4

A lot of people seen the trio sisters palette on clearance at Rexall for $12. I haven't gotten one personally since I never seen it in the GTA area

u/ficaholic · 1 pointr/MakeupAddictionCanada

Here

But when I got it, there was still prime shipping and it was a couple dollars cheaper!
