Hope I wasn't that wanker haha. I'm doing 50/50 myself and I'm on day 82(not a meph, I'm contemplating ditching my msnl seeds for mephs next grow). I've mentioned my ratio a few times but I don't think I've ever advised it lol. It was the top end of the range on growweedeasy, and I definitely plan on going like 70/30 next time too.

I've been watering like twice a day for a couple weeks now. I mix a 5L watering can of nutes every night. My plant is giant and only in a 2gal smartpot so I top it off every now and then as well, opening the tent and giving her a little more food isn't toooo hard, but it is annoying. I do like looking at her as well though haha.

I've been thinking of getting hydroton to put on top of the coco because it's supposed to help prevent evaporation from the coco I think. I've got some growstones already that I think I might just spread over the top

There’s

Kind Soil - https://www.amazon.com/Kind-Soil-Hot-Product-single/dp/B00S1HRLPQ

Which is a super soil you can get on Amazon. You’d basically put a layer in the bottom of your pot and pour some potting mix with light nutrients and then the roots of your plant will grow into the fertilizer when they’re old enough. I believe you can top dress with it as well.

Michigan M3 - https://www.m3michiganmademix.com/

I believe you can buy this directly from they’re website

KIS Organics Water Only Mix - https://www.kisorganics.com/collections/organic-soil-for-sale-bulk-potting-soil-mix/products/kis-organics-biochar-soil-mix

Can be bought through KIS website, I’ve heard great things about the BioChar mix but shipping is pricey

Build A Soil - https://buildasoil.com/products/living-organic-soil-malibu-compost?variant=44903445010

They have they’re own bagged mix as well, it’s similar to KIS soil although I noticed they’re shipping costs are lower

Sohum Soil - https://sohumsoils.com/product/sohum-living-soils-cannabis-craves/

It’s a living soil like the above 2 choices, although it can be bought in stores and online

(I’m going with a local company that makes living soils)

Aliki Gardens - https://www.alikigardens.com/shop/freyjas-mix

Based in San Diego, super helpful and fantastic soil that is water only.

Your setup looks pretty good. I was wondering what zone you are growing in, or if you want to share your general geographical area? My climate is very dry and as soon as the vents kick on all of my humidity vanishes. I've concluded that I need to isolate a flow of air to only cool the lights, but I'm using Quantum board LEDs so they don't really rig up to existing inline fan housing for lights but if you are growing with HID, you can get your system into something like this where you can cool the bulb only and let your humidity from your machine remain unaffected.

What do you think?

A 4” fan that is tuneable will be able to fill your needs

Here ya go! VIVOSUN Air Filtration Kit: 4 Inch 203 CFM Inline Fan with Speed Controller, 4'' Carbon Filter and 8 Feet of Ducting Combo https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XFRNPR8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2KtCDbDYGCGXH

You’ll need to place it on the outside of the tent assuming your entire space is filled with plants. Luckily you can flip the fan either way to control the flow direction

Mephisto Skywalker Freebie Day 75. 135W 4000k 3000k HLG QB. 24 Hrs.

Soil, Coast of Maine Stonington - Stonington Granular Fertilizer, GH MicroBloom, GH CalMg, MOAB, GH MicroGrow , Recharge (Until day ~50)

First Mephisto/Auto grow its been a pleasure. Wanted to see how far I could get with the Stonington Soil admendment. Needed help starting in early flower, which was probably because I used half the recommended dose.

Looking to cut in the next 10 days, currently ~10-20% amber on the sugar leaves.

I have a 125 watt QB and a 2x2' tent, started it around half-way (measured with a Kill-a-Watt) and then gradually cranked it up over veg. It seems to go up to 150-160 watts! Mine is still around 130, because my lux meter says it's around 35k-40k lux, and there's not much point going higher than that with a 20/4 light schedule, since I'm not supplementing CO2. (Part of the canopy that grew closer to the light during flowering stretch and hit 65k lux got some light burn until I bent it away.)

If you get a cheap lux meter (I have this $20 lux meter), you can measure the actual lighting in specific places in your canopy and decide, based on DLI targets. This helps with both dimming the light and actual light positioning.

Here's a great write-up about using a lux meter as a plant light meter.

Spider is one of many HLG clones popping up left and right. They mostly use the same diodes, so the difference comes down more to build quality. Here is the cheapest one I have seen.. https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LM301H-Dimmable-RED660NM-Quantum/dp/B07Z9V8KPD/ref=sr_1_2?m=A9UQU9ITAVB70&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&qid=1574027408&s=merchant-items&sr=1-2&th=1

That is what I paid for a HLG QB280 a year ago, for basically double the light.. crazy.

Here is a great channel to watch if you are interested in cutting edge grow light tech and see some tests.

This is one of my favorite set of tools in my plant nutrient artillery. If you’re not about it, consider using limestone. The main thing is that you add a base, as opposed to an acid.

Edit: Also, check this picture out. You’ll see why you don’t want your pH at 6. https://www.researchgate.net/figure/The-effect-of-soil-pH-on-nutrient-availability_fig2_277669269

Get a loupe for like $10 on amazon and check your trichomes.

I have this one.

Well i test for LUX and calculate par based on height, spectrum used and lux to come up with the average par. I'm not the most experienced person for indoor grows since all my other grows have had solar power. With LUX and watt meters while the data i collect might be off its still something to go based on for future grows.

I'll get some pictures of everything for you later today when I get in the tent.

Using 3.75" net pots with hydroton rocks and rapid rooters.

For air pumps I'm running 2 of these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002JLJC0W/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_track_package_o1_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

1 line from each pump into each bucket, in case of pump failure. So each bucket has two air lines/airstones.
