The easiest way to reduce & eliminate lint-issues, (Other than washing towels/cloths) is to simply get cloths that hardly have any length of pile to begin-with.
The fuzzy/plush/long-pile towels are usually the most common offenders, so opt for something like a knit or microfiber suede. Knit and suede are the preferred style of cloth for cleaning small polished/reflective surfaces, including glass & plastic.
Everything from glasses to gameboy screens look better when they're maintained with a knit or suede lens cloth. They remove smudges and oil-deposits, even without cleaning solutions or water. (Although water certainly helps too)
The tradeoff to flat & low-pile towels like that is they also don't offer dust or dirt particles anywhere to go, so if you rub a dusty surface too hard, it may scratch because the dust just digs into the surface you're cleaning. Getting the cloth slightly damp before wiping a moderately-dusty surface will help combat this.
Basically, take a look at these.
Hope that helps, and let me know if you've got other questions.
Also, if you like Amazon, you can find many of our towels on there, in which case I think these would be a simple-but-good fit for your needs.
I know this is an old thread, but for anyone curious, I found these[these](Progo Ultra Absorbent Microfiber Cleaning Cloths for LCD/LED TV, Laptop Computer Screen, iPhone, iPad and more. (6 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008FPTID2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_mkr4DbFMF3QNX) that appear to have the same ridges described (and less expensive).
I apply 303 with these. They are great. Interior towels honestly aren't as important as exterior towels. Simply because you are much less likely to scratch anything on the interior, versus paint. I buy the Costco yellows and use them on the interior, exterior and simply degrade from: paint to interior, jambs, tires, wheels, trash as they get dirty.
I have some Sterelite plastic bins that have a gasket around the lid. They keep dust dirt and moisture out so that I know I always have fresh rags to grab, regardless of how messy my garage gets from power tools and compressors.
