Hey everyone! I posted a few weeks ago with concerns about the cut of my moissanite stone - it was cloudy, dull, and had no fire.

I left the company name out of my original post because I wanted to keep things objective, but the stone was from C&C and I was very disappointed.

After I posted and got confirmation from you guys that something looked off, I called their customer support and they sent me a special cleaning cloth free of charge to remove any “film” or oil slick from the stone. Honestly, I wasn’t super impressed with this resolution and didn’t have high hopes it would works, but I tried to keep a positive attitude until the cloth arrived.

Well, it arrived yesterday and holy crap. This stone looks SO MUCH BETTER! There is actually fire and sparkles to the stone. I’m so happy, I can’t stop looking at it.

I’ve heard that other people have needed to clean a film off their stone, but didn’t think I would have that issue with a brand new stone. So, if you’re having issues with dullness in your moissanite I would recommend you give the sunshine cloth a try!

I didn’t buy a home-use ultrasonic because my setting has pave, which can be knocked loose.

I been using this cheapie and stop wearing my ring while cooking/dishes. My ring now stays oil slick free for about 3-5 months.

I considered a wedding band like this and ordered a 1.5mm wide cubic zirconia band to try out and was really disappointed. The look, the size, the lack of sparkle - just everything was lackluster. Here is the one I tried if you want to do a similar exercise.

I think the design is really very pretty, and I tend to love thin delicate bands, but I would caution you that the baguette ring might not have the look you’re hoping for. An east-west elongated emerald cut band might give you more facets with similar dimensions.

I was using a toothbrush + dish soap, but I recently bought this cleaner pen for travel and I'm converted. I thought it would be a hokey gimmick but it really left my ring sparkling with just a cursory scrub!

i use this without my ultrasonic cleaner when my ring is really dirty. otherwise, just natural clean dish soap, warm water, and electronic toothbrush for regular cleaning.

I googled for unique 3 stone rings and found essentially this ring being sold on amazon but with cz's and a asscher instead of princess cut stone I thought it was pretty. It's basically 3 solitaire rings that can be worn alone or together. I was thinking maybe after the holidays I would get more stone shapes so I can change up the look (more combinations). Had Annabella make it for me.

Sure! It's ProtectaClear. I've coated about 50 pieces of jewelry and haven't used a 3rd of the bottle, so it will last forever. I even paint earring backs that normally irritate me! But pay attention to the directions, particularly the ones about opening it, because it ain't easy.
