Hey man. I’m from the US but Here’s my recommendation,

A deck saver:
Decksaver DS-PC-OP1 - Teenage Engineering OP1 Protective Cover https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M6WFAWX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_7Hh1CbJ67NJ2F

A non teenage engineering soft Carrying case:
Soft Carrying Case for Teenage Engineering OP-1 (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078429PN8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_eJh1CbCBVXT45

I use the deck saver with the teenage engineering carrying case because It came with my OP-1 for free. But the off brand case should fit perfectly with the deck saver to keep your OP-1 nice and snug and secure.

If you search this question in the search bar you will also see people discussing using keyboard cases as well. Could work fine too and a bit cheaper.

Have fun!

I travel a lot, and even though the OP-1 does not feel fragile, I was still worried about it. I usually stuff it inside my backback next to some other stuff, and even though I always take it into the cabin, the backback sometimes takes a beating.

So I decided to buy the original softcase, and although it's quite expensive, I love it. Yes, it's not slim and it adds quite a bit of thickness to your OP-1, but it has super soft pillows inside and I have no doubt it will protect the OP-1 if my backback gets thrown around. Plus, I love the little pouch it has, I stuffed the USB cable and a stereo jack cable in there, and it's been great when I'm doing stuff on the go!

I just got a generic 3.5mm antenna from Amazon for $5 which works great. Although from what I can tell, just having headphones plugged in works just as well.

I also invested in the T.E. screen protector.. $15 to help protect the screen of a $900 instrument seems like a no-brainer. I've heard the screen can scratch easily, though that may have just been older models, I'm not sure.

All the time, it really works well as an effects unit / looper for guitar or any other instrument for that matter.

It’s good to run something like this between the guitar and the synth to get a strong clean signal:

This case is awesome and I feel protects the op-1 better than the soft case. Recently flew with it and it was fine.

I got a traktor X1 case online that was about exactly the right size to hold an OP-1 in one half, and then i put a piece of cardboard on top of it and put a po-12, audio recorder and cables in the top half. It was pretty cheap and it's perfect for me.

I have a couple of suggestions that i think would work great as they are both durable and cheap:
this JAM rewind is literally the size of two iphones 5 stacked, the quality is surprisingly good for its price range.
And this JBL flip 3 , the size on this is like a bottle, it fits in most backpack's side pocket

PS: you will need a jack cable for both of these as its not included

u/Cookizza · 1 pointr/OP1users

I got this after seeing how much the official cases were gonna cost.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/UDG-Creator-Hardcase-Protector-U8410BL/dp/B0055CKNE6

The op-1 rattles around inside it a little, but I added a very small amount of padding from another case I had and now it fits snug. I was worried it would not be sturdy but it's been good.

For the money, I'm very happy and padding it out was simple

Waveshare sh1106, off Amazon. Driving it with the luma display library.

1.3inch OLED Display HAT 128x64 Pixels 4-wire SPI 3-wire SPI I2C interface Embedded Controller Direct-pluggable for Raspberry Pi 2B/3B/Zero/Zero W with Examples https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078D6NXFM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_AuMWAbFVTA9A0

Regarding the fx, I just got a pisound which is fantastic for that sort of thing. MODEP is really cool, I've been using it to put fx on my guitar to record into the op-1 track.

u/just_some_gomer · 1 pointr/OP1users

is there a mic/line option on your interface? maybe it's set to the wrong one... how much input gain do you have dialed on the interface? perhaps it's up too high. those are my thoughts.. i also use a cheap noise isolator from amazon, and it's working perfect over here.

u/WeAre0N3 · 4 pointsr/OP1users

>I don’t need a case that expensive lol.

Yo - check this out. I bought one, and it fits too! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EY7WAH0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have a backorder from MOMA store that I made in February (because I’m a member so get 20% discount AND I had a $100 gift card to use), MOMA was estimating them to be in stock today but I have a sinking feeling that I’ll still be waiting a long time and wish I could just hit that buy now button on Amazon! 😞

u/johnghadimi · 2 pointsr/OP1users

I got this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078429PN8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also got the decksaver, which I use when I leave my OP-1 on my desk. The case itself has pretty decent protection.

Oh, and I grabbed this antenna from Amazon because 20 bucks is ridiculous. ENUODA 3.5mm FM Radio Antenna for Mobile Cell Phone 8.5cm/21cm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0185KMVOO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_qC6BybBASNDN0

It works great and it was 5 bucks and some change

Ground loop isolator helps. Like this one:
Mpow Ground Loop Noise Isolator for Car Audio / Home Stereo System with 3.5mm Audio Cable (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019393MV2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_PYJYzbN0G2NCX

u/elevatedstations · 5 pointsr/OP1users

Do get one of these:
https://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Ground-Isolator-Stereo-System/dp/B019393MV2

Mine was super noisey.. to the point where I was thinking about getting rid of it, but that cleared it right up.

VISM by NcStar Rangebag Insert/Black (CV2904B) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001OLU5HC/

I like to use these bags for my electronics, as they have a lot of squishy padding. Turns out it’s just the right size for the OP-1!

u/3sleeves · 1 pointr/OP1users

That can be prevented with a ground loop isolator on the OP-1 output.

I've had laptops and cell phones make that noise while charging as well, but the OP-1 does have a pretty loud whine.

u/infectedfreckle · 1 pointr/OP1users

It’s a Pelican 1085 case that goes for about $60. You cut the foam yourself, I’d recommend using a brand new razor blade.

Here's one that's on Amazon Prime
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B078D6NXFM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The picture isn't right, but it's the board in the build.

u/simonpunishment · 1 pointr/OP1users

Hi there. Get one of these....

https://www.amazon.com/UDG-U8410BL-Creator-Hardcase-Protector/dp/B0055CKNE6

I love TE but the price for the op-1 case is a bit OTT. This one is cheaper and more sturdy. All you have to do is cut a tiny amount of foam from one of the edges.

I should add that this fits the deck saver too, and that it frequently pops up on OP-1 forums.

u/AspergillusTicor · 1 pointr/OP1users

If it's a short run to the mixer you can get away with unbalanced connection, but at least grab one of these to eliminate the ground loop. Also, no charging while playing!

u/digitaldavis · 6 pointsr/OP1users

I believe it has more to do with the impedance of the OP-1's output and the impedance of the other device's input. For an example - listen to the the OP-1 with cheap, low impedance headphones and you'll hear a ton of noise. Now listen to the OP-1 using a pair of quality high impedance headphones and you won't hear any noise.

There can me some hum/noise from the output when you have the USB connected, but there is a simple fix for that - a ground loop isolator.

This devices solves alot of the OP-1 noise problems.

Your seller "just launched" (just opened) their account:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00CXSJUZS/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

Amazon has one listing for every product, and multiple sellers for that product. That's why there are reviews.

Any merchant fulfilled seller can claim that they have stock. That's how this scam works. They say they have it, but they don't.

This is a classic scam.
