I have trouble thinking of newer bands that I like. I'm not into what I guess are currently the more popular genres at the moment. I do like what I think are some newer bands like Paramore, Halestorm, and Skillet. Oh, I just downloaded Howie Day's album. Now that I look I see it's aleady 9 years old, but it's new to me.

I feel almost overwhelmed. I don't have time to sit and listen to music like I used to. I dont drive as much as I did when I was younger so I listen to the radio a lot less. It feels like a chore to find new music that I really like now and there's tons of older stuff I have yet to explore as well.

For those of us that get them, certain kinds of noise and certain situations make us "tingle" all over. It is a bit like the pleasant shiver you get from light stroking down your back, or maybe one of these things

Basically: some people get pleasant shivers from certain sounds.

You go to an electronica music festival and 80% of the music you hear will not be on the radio.

Ex: Have you heard The Prodigy's - The Day is my Enemy (Album) . It's very good and very popular. Not a mention on the radio.

Even the Ultra albums have music you won't hear in clubs. They're actually pretty good.
