It's easy. I like to get the cig adapter with a built in fuse for extra protection, and then the wires typically connect red to red and black to black. https://www.amazon.com/CUZEC-Cigarette-Lighter-Adapter-CU10160B/dp/B075KF9363/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_263_tr_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=MV60WWFFMSA9E2W3M7Y8

You can get some wire splicers and heat shrink to make things neat and easy if you need to add more wire. (Most pods and bars only come with a foot or two of wire.) Lots of videos on youtube showing how to solder and connect wires many different ways. Good luck!

So in my experience, it's actually really difficult to get lost in AZ. I've been to some really remote places, this weekend for example in the White Mountains I didn't see another soul for two days. It was great.

One of the greatest things about this state is that a lot of the trails are marked very well.

Between downloading an offline version of google maps and this atlas, I feel pretty safe in AZ's backcountry.

I've also used Gaia Maps but it seemed overkill for me.

Interested. Do you have more details? A website? How do they compare to the competition?

I've got a bunch of hits for several "Alpha LED Light Bar". Are these the same ones? (i.e. this )

Years ago I used to be in a Land Rover club (back when the D2 was the newest model), and your lunch description is on point. I realized what I was getting into when I saw them eating sushi on the trail with Snow Peak chopsticks, which at the time were about 80 bucks. Looks likes they are 46.00 now

There's a lot!

Do a Google Earth view over southern Utah. You could literally drive from Moab to Vegas on 90% dirt/ fire roads; if you have one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CFWD3IG/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=A5YURHOP811Z&coliid=I3QMM3JC7VAB6O

In/ around Moab, you could tool around at Hell's revenge, which would be the obvious choice for a Jeep. For a 1-2 day excursion you could drive the White Rim Trail around Canyonlands. Either way definitely check out Canyonlands and Arches while you're out there.

Have fun.

Hey! I'm not nearby but I can tell you exactly how to get out because I was in your exact shoes about a year ago. It's not about pulling your truck straight back or digging. You have to lift it up first and then back it out. You need a hi lift Jack and a wheel mate:

https://www.amazon.com/Hi-Lift-LM100-Jack-LM-100-Lift-Mate-x/dp/B00042KGWG

Attach that to your front wheel, lift the wheel up out of the rut, fill in the whole underneath it with anything that has traction, and lower the wheel back down. Repeat for at least the other front wheel, or all four if necessary. You'll be able to drive right out.

No need for a fancy winch.
