I'm not really into pens, but when I said nice, o meant personalized. When it comes to pens, I am for thicker pens, specially a set of G2s.
When it comes to mechanical pencils, I prefer rather expensive (annoyingly) .5mm ones.

To me, I think my recommendations will not help everyone, as I am yet to experience all the pens and pencils I have access to.
