I have the same situation with my dogs and there are a lot of shitty dog owners in my neighborhood that have aggressive dogs off-leash. I have started carrying these pet correctors. It's a little aerosol can that lets out a hissing noise that dogs do not like. If a dog is running toward us, I just bust it out and they usually stop and run back to their owners.
That person would have come out to four flat tires. I keep a tool in my car for such occasions. It removes the pin inside the valve where you air up the tire. And once its removed, no matter how much you fill it up it will just empty out just as quick. Its a major pain in the ass to deal with. And doesn't damage the tires at all.

My mom read these books to me... they scared me a little. The trauma came from camping trips in Yellowstone National Park when she put those books away, then pulled out A Grizzly Death in Yellowstone and Death in Yellowstone so that she could read graphic stories of campers and hikers being mauled to death by bears in the same fucking place we were going to sleep.
I, to date, have a completely totally rational fear of bears.
