I use this one and I will never switch back. It’s a little pricey but it’s so soft and good quality. It’s small but holds lots of blood and I just love it. Good luck!
Yeah OP, I feel you! I have menorrhagia too - I have been meaning to try this approach of menstrual cup and period panties for a while. I also (why?!) still insist on white bedding - but I realised I could just accept it and buy something like this - they look really nice and cosy: https://www.amazon.com/Cycleliners-Waterproof-Leakproof-Menstrual-Protector/dp/B00VMKBY34
I would suggest menstrual cups! You can get them at Target or Walmart or other stores like that in your area (or order from online). They’re usually around $20-$30, which can be expensive I know, but they were a total lifesaver for me. I know the Diva Cup brand even makes a smaller teen size now, which may work well for you. They can be left in longer than tampons, there’s a lot less risk of leaking, and they’re small and reusable. They’re made of silicon and I’ve sometimes even carried mine bunched up in my waistband to hide it. They can be a little daunting to learn how to use at first but once you get the hang of it it’s a breeze!
Also if I might make a suggestion: see an ob/gyn doctor soon if you haven’t already. They’ll be able to tell you if your cramps and bleeding are or aren’t normal, and maybe offer more advice or prescription medicine to help.
Yes girl!! I'm so glad to be hearing from you!! Topical magnesium is another great option which one can apply as a lotion, it relives pain and acts as a supplement too! I'm sorry the livia didn't work for you, but glad you tried this. Here's a well-reviewed lotion: https://www.amazon.com/Ancient-Minerals-Magnesium-Zechstein-Chloride/dp/B06XXP8YRL

Order a box of these. Starting two days after your period completes, test every day until you see a positive or for 3 weeks. If you do not see a ovulation, boom.

Ask your doctor about a general hormone level blood test. That might can help. Going on birth control might be able to regulate your cycle.
you can try a different cup maybe? something like the organicup maybe also try different folding methods as well? cramps i feel like are there with me regardless of what i use (tampon/cup etc) also aim it at the small of your back and not “up”
I but mine through Amazon. Brand doesn't matter to me just function.
I have some for light days, regular, and over night.

Do you take it all throughout the month or just the week before/week of your period?
Basically they are a layer of waterproof PUL (also used for cloth diapers) and then layers of bamboo or cotton for the absorbant pad area. You can get ones with or without snaps to secure them around your underwear. They are thicker than regular pads but softer and less irritating.
