I purchased the moment case, but didn't want to pay the ridiculous price for a moment portrait lens ($120 or so) so I bout the Sirui 60mm which was half the price. It is absolutely amazing.

Here are some shots taken with the lens.

Some of those shots are taken with portrait mode, which really doesn't do the lens much justice because there's additional blurring going on. The 4k videos are a really good way to see how the lens works and how it focuses so I definitely recommend watching those. I have been so incredibly happy with the lens. Here's the product page on Amazon, and if you scroll down you'll see my review of it as well.

I've got an ESR case. ESR Metal Kickstand Series Compatible with Google Pixel 3a XL Case, Vertical and Horizontal Stand, Reinforced Drop Protection,Flexible TPU Case with Soft Back for the Pixel 3a XL (2019 Release), Clear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PRVC2FQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_taa_lUOlDbXJGDYD1

It's a clear case. I'd say the phone is petty ugly in it, but I'm all function over form, so I don't care.

The kickstand works well - holds phone either horizontal or vertical. Volume and on/off buttons function well. Protection and grip are pretty good, but it doesn't protect the screen at all.

I just got my 3a about 2 weeks ago and I have this tempered glass on there. I like it a lot, it comes with a guide to put it straight and the oleophoic coating definitely does a good job at getting those oil smudges off. I have greasy hands from lotion and stuff and it wipes right off with ease on this tempered glass.

How does the back of your case feel? I have one that looks identical but is from a different vendor and the back of it has this horrible texture that feels so rough and dry on my hands.

I have this screen protector and it goes slightly past the edge of the screen, but not all the way to the edge of the case, so there is still a gap. Like you I'm hoping to get a better combo later once there is more feedback.

I would go for a case. I went with this one. It fits beautifully and isn't bulky. Also knowing it is protected feels nice in case it drops hard one day or something

I have a cheap one by mpow which fit my 3a in a case without issue. Haven't used it underwater but it kept perfectly dry on a day of heavy rain and water rides at a theme park. Didn't effect the camera, touch screen still worked and I was even able to make calls.

I just switched my clear case out that had a lower above screen lip, too. Also, the new case covers the rocker switches rather than being cut outs so that will help protect them from dust/dirt. Good grip, stays spotless (no fingerprint marks, hasn't scratched). And only $3.82+. I have that same case for my pixel3a XL...I liked it but I was just using it until my Google Pixel case came in! I got the seascape color, and I really like it for the button functionality...not “squishy” on the buttons, but rather “clicky !” https://www.amazon.com/Google-GA00792-Pixel-Case-Seascape/dp/B07PK5LYSY/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=Google+pixel+3a+case&qid=1559322421&s=gateway&sr=8-11

There is this one:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PJ63DXY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hard plastic so OK for nick and scratch protection but does not provide much impact protection. Very thin. Exposed buttons. Extends above the screen VERY SLIGHTLY so that at least on mine, the screen does not QUITE contact a flat surface when face down. The case is about the thickness of the lens protrusion but since there is a slight ridge around the lens opening the lens will not make contact when placed screen side up on a flat surface. I have one and I like it because it hardly adds any bulk or mass to the phone. But then I don't drop my phones. Much ;)

I've been using [this one] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P3HTR7B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_mMt8CbDCR53CC) for a couple of weeks now and it's been great.

I just got them, all the assistant stuff works surprisingly flawless. The sound quality is better than you might think. They have them for cheaper on Amazon but it's a bundle.

I bought this when I ordered the phone, and it's been good so far.

That being said, who knows...I haven't even dropped it yet.

My wife and I each bought a Pixel 3a this weekend. According to FedEx tracking, the phones should arrive on Tuesday.

I bought this 4-pack of screen protectors after checking other listings from the seller on Fakespot and ReviewMeta: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NZLGWGH/

We both decided on this case after scrolling through the list of available cases and not being thrilled with any of the available choices: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PPVHWPN/

I may switch to this Spigen case later on (but it wasn't in stock yet and won't be until 5/24): https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Rugged-Armor-Designed-Google/dp/B07MJ7V552/

I'll try to remember to pop back in once we receive our phones next week and have an opportunity to apply the screen protectors and put the phones in the cases.

I bought these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PCQ5T7Y/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A7N4ULAJAHSAP&psc=1

" Please Note: Google Pixel 3a screens has curved edges that our screen protectors do not cover 100%, as they would peel over time causing customer frustration. We designed our screen protectors so you will have maximum coverage on your device with ease of installation and durability. "

How thick is the protrusion on the back, where the kickstand is?

u/tamsgaf · 2 pointsr/Pixel3a

Just got this for $6 on Amazon. Squeeze works fine.

Just look up "floating phone pouch" on Amazon. I went kayaking a little while ago and in the office they were selling these. Some have IPx8 rating. You can still take photos or use your phone, through the plastic, and if you drop it in water it will float on the surface.

This is similar to the one I picked up.

It works fine with my Spigen Rugged Armor. https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Rugged-Armor-Designed-Google/dp/B07MJ7V552/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=spigen+pixel+3a&qid=1558489689&s=gateway&sr=8-2

I had the Nexus 6P version of that case, and loved it. When I got the Pixel 3a, it was what I looked for.

I've got the on-call phone for the week (but I get 2 weeks of dogsitting for giving up my weekend), and the on-call phone is a Pixel 2. They bought the Spigen Tough Armor for it, and it works with the squeeze function, but I don't like kickstands. The one my Samsung GS3 case had broke.
