Japanese curry is INCREDIBLY easy to make. You really can’t mess it up. You can buy brands like Golden Curry at most major retailers. Just a fair warning the spice levels are very mild across the board on most Japanese curry so if you like spicy food be prepared to add your own spices. All you are doing though is chopping some veggies and meat if you like and throwing it in a pot, done and done. Delicious meal that you can pack into the fridge and have for a couple nights :)

FYI if you don’t want to deal w/ sending it in and waiting while they fix it and shit, replacing it yourself is pretty darn easy. Just did it a while ago - can buy a kit on amazon ~$15 and works like new.

Edit:
Here’s a couple helpful links. Make sure to buy the correct joystick and use correct instructions as the L/R are different.

I'm also getting the Galar Pokedex: https://www.amazon.com/Pok%C3%A9mon-Sword-Shield-Official-Pok%C3%A9dex/dp/1604382058/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=galar+pokedex&qid=1573047289&sr=8-1

Unfortunately it doesn't release until December 20, but for me it's a collector's item, and I'm sure I'll still need help filling out my Pokedex by then, or catching and/or breeding better Pokemon!

I don't think the mods will let us even talk about things released today via the streamer who played today.

Edit: since I'm a dummy and only skimmed the OP earlier.

I would look into getting an HDMI capture card. So something like this: elgato 4k60

If you could get hands on one, there are models of the switch that have and sdi output on them. You can see them in the E3 footage and then use this to get the signal. Blackmagic Design DeckLink Duo 2 4ch SDI Playback and Capture Card BMD-BDLKDUO2

You would also need a PC with some kind of software like OBS. I would highly recommend epos vox for tutorials.

This is the only real big issue with the switch. It only has 32gb of storage built in, so if you'd prefer digital, I highly recommend getting a microSD card to expand your storage space, as you'll run out quickly.

This is the one I put in, relatively cheap for 256gb and has done wonders for my switch experience, as I prefer to not lug around a bunch of physical games.

[Samsung 256GB MicroSDXC] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B072HRDM55/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1)

As far as other things to enjoy it, I don't think there are any peripherals or anything to worry about, so just dive right in!

The dex is a seperate book, that Amazon keeps pushing the date on too. That one says 12/20 on my order at the moment.
