I'm also recommending Blind Guardian's Nightfall in Middle-Earth, for obvious reasons...

Unfortunately, there was a post a few months ago about NiME not being available on Amazon and it still appears to be that way...

OP, if your gift card covers other sellers then you're in luck - you can get the imported version from other sellers, but it probably won't be able to be shipped for free.

That said, figure out some other things to get with the card, but DEFINITELY try to get a copy of NiME - it's an incredible album.

Other choices:

Symphony X - Either "V: The New Mythology Suite" or "The Divine Wings of Tragedy". Honorable mention to "The Odyssey", but V and Divine Wings are my two favorites. Symphony X is a bit of a Power/Progressive blend, but they're AMAZING, and they have one of the best vocalists I've ever heard in my life.

Avantasia - I'd start with "The Metal Opera". I'm surprised to not see it mentioned already, but it's also incredible, and there is a sequel (aptly named "The Metal Opera Part 2"). Really anything by Avantasia is great, but I'd start with The Metal Opera and maybe check out The Wicked Symphony next.

Kamelot - I'd start with "Epica" and "The Black Halo" and then maybe look into "Karma" and "The Fourth Legacy" if you like them.

Looks like it came out on the 14th

I feel like I should give him a fair shot seeing as he is quoted as one of the greatest Sci-Fi authors.

I tend to work my way through the Hugo Awards if I'm looking for new Sci-Fi. I discovered Red Shirts which was brilliantly funny through that list.

This is way easier than it sounds, but Amazon Japan has all their albums. Set up a Amazon Japan account with your credit/debit card, but when prompted for a name/address, use a fake address generator like this one. That should get you a new profile, just make sure you matching the shipping address with your actual address, rather than the fake Japanese one.

It can take between 1-4 hours for them to "verify" you, but they do in almost every case. I bought a bunch of Nintendo Switch games using this method, so I know it works.

Anyway, here are the links to each album on Amazon Japan.

One of the best power metal bands of all time. Enjoy!!!

But do you have the Unopened single with the ghetto logo?

Do you have this convenient unofficial release from spinefarm?

Do you have this random ass live CD?

Ever hear this random cover they did that's not on any of their official releases?

I sure as hell don't have any of those. YOU ARENT A TRUE FAN UNTIL YOU HAVE THEIR DEMO TAPES. ECLIPTICA? PFFT THEY SOLD OUT AS SOON AS THEY CHANGED THEIR NAME FROM TRICKY MEANS. AGRE PAMPPERS IS THE REAL MASTERPIECE

Oh look, i found the last drop falls single for 600 bucks (on discogs it's going for 15 bucks though)

I really want the Deliverance compilation as it basically has every bonus track from every album up to unia, and all the extra tracks like still loving you, etc. It's not even on discogs though since 2014.

Heh, I play(ed) Tenor Horn, now French Horn for about 7 years. As well as piano for 10, and more recently guitar for just under a year. How oddly similar.

To start learning piano, if you don't have a basic grasp on music theory, you won't get very far. Find a teacher, buy a cheapish standalone keyboard such as this - good luck, and it's never too late to start if you have enough determination

Somewhat akin to Stormwind's album covers.

To piggyback off of this - I'd highly recommend the HearO High Fidelity brand:

https://www.amazon.com/Hearos-Earplugs-High-Fidelity-Free/dp/B000V9PKZA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494423962&sr=8-1&keywords=hearo+high+fidelity

It's basically what Chris recommends with some extras. $14, comes with a case, and these have a filter in them that cuts high highs and low lows. I use them on-stage when singing, and I used to use them at concerts before I got custom molded plugs.
