This one seems like a decent price with good reviews.

Edit: there's also this one. Although I'm not sure if that's such a good deal.

What /u/DidItForTheStory said, ive had my UAG case for two years now and dropped it tons of times from concrete to glass to wood to table edges, not a single crack anywhere, only damage to it is a single chip about 2 mm right above the ringer switch

amazing case and recommend the orange one, cus its dope and its what i have, get this case with a glass screen protector and it will stay in perfect condition for (at least) 2 years

I have this one. I've used it the last 4 months and I love it. I have to charge it every 2-3 days and charges my iPhone 6s fully about 4 times before it dies.

Seems it's actually on Prime Day sale too.

Yep, look at this portable battery. It's a front page deal and got claimed up really quick. It's claiming 75% off of a price of $159.99, so it's selling for $39.99. This thing is almost always selling for $49.99 and has never been anywhere near $159.99. Shit, the most it has ever cost was $89.99, and that only lasted a few days it seems like.

They're listing right on the Amazon page that you'll be saving $120, but that's such a lie. Like I said, the regular price is only $10 more, not $120. Actually, it was as low as $34.99 three months ago, so even cheaper than it was on sale for!

I bought the Edifer R1700 bookshelf speakers about two months ago and I am 100% satisfied. I use them as speakers for my projector mostly, but I also use them paired up with a Chromecast Audio to listen to music.

What does everyone think of the Sony deal?

u/SenorSnakeskin · 1 pointr/PrimeDay

I just bought a pair of the Cowin E-7s... $30 cheaper than the Sony headphones and they're noise cancelling.

I feel cheated because they inflate the prices to make you feel like you're saving more. The following item has a list price of $29.89 if you don't sign into Amazon with your prime account.
But if you're signed in the list price is $85.99 with a prime price of $22.36. 74% savings? Hmm, not quite:

The Fire TV - https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Fire-TV-Streaming-Media-Player/dp/B00U3FPN4U

I bought a Fire TV stick last year for $20 and it is nice for hotels on work trips but is under powered and slow for main TV use. Plus it does not support 4k like the Fire TV box.
