I personally use the Mayflash 3-in-1 Adapter for PC and it has worked flawlessly for me so far. I didn't need to use another program to map the steps for whatever reason. If you plan to get this one, make sure to read the instructions provided since I believe there's a certain order of what to plug in first.

As of October 2016 the MK9 system hardware was the next which they were still selling AFTER the Prime 2 was announced so it must still be the current up to date hardware.

Intel Celeron E3400 (but any CPU that fits the motherboard will work)

Asrock G41C-GS motherboard (other motherboards should work as long as they use the same audio chipset and driver)

1GB PC3-10600 1333Mhz DDR3 RAM (not necessarily Kingston, any amount should work as long it's compatible with the motherboard)

Nvidia Geforce GT 210 512MB DDR3 (Not necessarily EVGA, 1GB version will work too. Some more high end Nvidia GPU should work too)

350 Watts PSU.

That's all you would need to build a MK9 upgrade for Prime 2, you already have the I/O Board and
Jamma Board.

You can buy a Prime 2 HDD upgrade, includes HDD, Dongle Key and the new Pass card assembly for $1750 from

Im currently StepF2 on a Intel Core Duo at i guess 2.X Ghz, 2Gb of RAM on a 500Gb 5400Rpm Hard drive. Im also using a 1GB DDR5 AMD Graphics Card, which i guess it boosts the whole rig.

My suggestion would be to get a dirty cheap rig with at least 2 or 4gb of RAM, and add a Low or medium graphics card (EVGA GT240 work marvels and its for about 30 usd on ebay)

Now if you can get new components, try to get something with an intel HD 520 (a MOBO that can take the latests skylake processors or so), those works completely fine and eliminates the needs to get a graphics card.

Not sure what Fefemz uses but happyf33ts uses Fitkicks.. I have a pair but they are really slippery (more-so than socks) so that's something to consider. They are only about $20 so relatively cheap if you want to try them.

Hey man, if you do end up buying the PIU pads. I found an adapter that works with Stepmania. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J4JVFXI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
