Hello, I am an engineer and am very analytic in my thinking as well. I had a series of life experiences a few years ago that opened me up to things like meditation, hypnosis, and past lives among others. After reading Dr. Michael Newton's books 'Journey of Souls' and 'Destiny of Souls' I decided that I wanted to do a past life regression and have my own personal experience. I did this because I wanted to know first hand what I would remember, how it would feel, and how it might all fit in with my issues I'm dealing with in life today. It was such an amazing experience that I recently decided to take a class to get certified in hypnosis.

After reading your post I realized I might have a perspective to offer that might assist you. This is my opinion based on what I've learned and what I've experienced, so take it for what it's worth. First of all, in my hypnosis class I learned that hypnosis is really just a term used to describe a state of mind that we all enter naturally without realizing it. When we work with a hypnotist, we are working with an individual who not only helps facilitate reaching this state, but they also help us utilize that state of mind to work towards accomplishing goals.

The hypnotic state of mind is basically where your brain waves slow down from the normal busy beta range to the slower and more relaxed alpha range. A deep trance state is even slower still where your brainwaves enter the theta range. Delta is where we go unconscious and dream/sleep. These brainwave states are natural and like I said, we go into them all the time without realizing it. When our brain waves slow down our conscious mind moves closer to the subconscious/unconscious mind where our habitual thought patterns originate as well as our intuition. With a focused effort you can consciously access these programs and insights to help you to accomplish your goals.

When we read a book or watch tv we tune out all the external noise going on around us. We immerse our imagination in the story being told. This can be categorized as a state of hypnosis. When you get into your car and drive on autopilot while deep in thought, this is a state of hypnosis. Hypnosis is a participatory event and although you become more suggestible in these states you are still you, and you are still very aware of who you are and what you are doing.

One of the reasons some people are less hypnosis friendly is because it requires a 'trust' in order for us to truly relax to this state with another person. There is also the factor that if we are overly analyzing everything that is going on we really aren't relaxing and letting our brain waves slow to the alpha state. There are many factors at play. My advice would be to learn how to let go and trust the process. Be more on board with doing it than you are in resistance to it. We can all be torn on certain decisions. Hypnosis only works when you truly are ready to move on and accomplish goal X. If part of you really doesn't want to accomplish goal X, then that part of yourself will sabotage the process. We can be incredibly conflicted creatures, especially those of us who overly analyze everything.

Get the notion that you are a difficult case for hypnosis out of your head. You go to this natural state several times a day, every day of your life. The only difference is that in hypnosis or meditation you are actively working to accomplish a goal. Hypnosis is facilitated and guided by somebody else. Meditation is self guided. Repetition makes a difference too. This isn't magic. There is a reason why things work the way they do. The more you focus on your goal and work at it, the more likely you are to accomplish it.

I hope this helps. Sorry its so long. Let me know if you have any questions.

> At the beginning of each new universal cycle, all souls are renewed on their return to the soul world. This is the only time per cycle God plays his role as our purifier, and it is only then all of us souls return to our original home of light for this purpose. This is why at all other times people refer to being sent back into the world after experiencing the bliss of God's realm of light. They report wanting to stay there, but the physical laws at that point determine that we're bound to keep incarnating in a body.

Your claims of this conflict with a variety of sources. As far as I have read so far - Newton's Journey/Destiny of Souls, The Law of One - there is in fact significant time spent by souls between incarnations. According to Newton, these times involve learning and interaction with other souls, as well as planning of the next life.

> Initially, as is the nature of duality (Yin & Yang energy) we alternate incarnations - male energy in a male body, female energy in a female body, alternating male to female, each new birth.

This is not corroborated in any source I've read so far. According to Newton, beginner souls tend to prefer male or female in their initial incarnations, and begin to switch when they feel comfortable.

What are your sources for all these claims you make? Whence did you derive this information?

Did you read Return from Heaven by Carol Bowman? If not, it will be interesting for you.
The book tells about children who reincarnated within the same family.

> Anyway, do any of you know how I can break the cycle of reincarnation and not reincarnate again?

Short answer: Forgive all the unconscious guilt that is buried deep into the mind, that will effect all your past, present and future lifetimes and you won't have to repeat the same lessons again and again. Easier said than done, but can be done.

My recommendation, start by reading this boook and then do what you feel guided to do: https://www.amazon.com/Disappearance-Universe-Straight-Illusions-Forgiveness/dp/1401905668

  1. Yongyang Rong, the Reincarnated White Pig: able to understand human speech

More cases from the kindle book: 100 Reincarnation Cases In Pingyang: Extraordinary True Stories of Kam People Who Recall Past Lives

How is animal's afterlife? Do animals around us understand our human's language? I would like to quote some accounts from a reincarnation case from my book for your reference. A boy told us the things happened exactly on the day when his previous body as a pig was discussed, chased, roped and killed. He still remembered the conversation between the previous master of the pig and the three butchers. A pig never talks as human does not mean it is not able to understand our language.
Excerpt from case 32#. "...Yongyang had been able to speak in simple phrases since he was a year and eight months old, but his speech was not always very clear. One day, Yongyang was playing by the pavilion in the village when he noticed an old woman harvesting hogweeds nearby. He immediately made his way over and stopped her, exclaiming: “Don’t use those kinds of hogweeds - they are super spicy!” The old woman was surprised to hear this coming from a small child who couldn’t have been more than two years of age, so she asked him, “And how would you know that?” “I’m a pig!” Yongyang answered matter-of-factly, seemingly too young to be bothered by the fact that he had just declared himself to be a pig. Amused by his answer, the old woman asked, “And which family might you belong to, little piggy?” To her surprise, Yongyang immediately gave a rather specific answer: “I am from Rongmei’s family!”
This was the first time little Yongyang had ever mentioned his past life as a pig; perhaps seeing the old woman harvesting hogweeds sparked his memories. Later that day, the old woman mentioned their conversation to Yongyang’s mother, Jutao Lu, who was very surprised to learn about her son’s unusual past life.
After this initial event, Yongyang began to produce more and more fragmentary accounts of his past life as a pig. As it turned out, he was a white pig - one of the several kept by the family of a local villager named Rongmei, who fed the pigs by cooking hogweeds harvested from the hills with rice and bran. All the other pigs finished their meals without the tiniest bit of leftover, but this one particular pig had always been especially picky, leaving the less tasty bits in his trough. The owner would often get angry about the wastage and yell at him while striking his snout with a tree branch.
One day, his owner got together with three butchers who made their living selling pork, one of whom was named Yongyao Rong. While the butchers spoke with his owner, the white pig listened and realized that his owner intended to sell him to this group of men to be killed for meat. Terrified, the white pig waited for the butchers to open the gate, and bolted from the pigsty onto the streets, then made his way frantically towards the hills. The three butchers, along with his owner, chased after him with ropes and eventually caught up with him, bringing him back to the village firmly secured.
As they prepared for the slaughter, one of the butchers jokingly told him, “Hey, remember that it ain’t us two doing the slaughtering, yeah? It’s this guy, Yongyao - don’t you go after the wrong man, now!” The white pig listened and understood. He turned his head and caught a glimpse of Yongyao, who was ready to kill him. Yongyao did not notice anything out of of the ordinary, so he killed the pig as usual.
His soul departed the body of the white pig and had nowhere in particular to go, so it simply returned to the pigsty at Rongmei’s family, where it spent another half a year. During this time, Jutao was pregnant with child, and often passed by the Rongmei family home on her way to visit her mother - which she did on a regular basis during her pregnancy. Even on the last couple of days immediately prior to the birth of her baby, she would go by Rongmei’s place and its pigsty on her way to see her mother. When Yongyang was little, someone asked him, “how did you come to be here?” To which Yongyang would reply: “I came along with my mother!”
The butcher Yongyao had a daughter named Yanli Rong, who was Yongyang’s friend as well as a member of the same clan. When someone asked Yongyang, “who slaughtered you when you were a pig?” Yongyang answered, “Yanli’s dad did.” Yongyao, hearing about this, came by and verified that it was indeed him who did the slaughtering. Afterwards, Yongyao swore to never slaughter another pig again for as long as he lived.
Growing up, Yongyang had never taken to eating pork, and rarely ate any other kinds of meat. His mother grew worried and told him, “You have to eat some pork, otherwise you will be malnourished!” But for whatever reason, Yongyang had to this very day never eaten pork (and rarely any other kinds of meat). Jutao recalled that little Yongyang would often wake up from his sleep in the middle of the night bawling his eyes out, and could not be consoled.
At around 4 or 5 years of age, Yongyang’s grandmother began to feed him..."

Only oblique references to reincarnation were left in the New Testament (such as the question about the man born blind, in which the questioner seems to assume the man could have done something in a past life that would warrant that type of punishment, though it's not directly stated).

Some people believe that all direct references were expunged by the early church fathers (who, you must remember, were also political leaders - no separation of church and state back then) because they felt that if a person believed that the current lifetime was just one of many, then they would not be as afraid of any punishments that church or king might mete out. And later on it was at odds with the church's take on hell (which doesn't hold up once you realize that three completely different words in the original languages were all translated "hell" in English, one of them being the place that all dead go to (probably the place we rest between lives) and another being the eternal place of confinement and torture that was reserved for the devil and the fallen angels, but not humans. And in case you were wondering, the third was a actual garbage dump in Jerusalem where fires were always burning to consume the trash, sort of like the municipal dumps we used to have in the 1950's and before, and maybe still have in some very rural areas and in third world countries).

I would suggest if you are not terribly uncomfortable with the thought that extraterrestrials may have influenced our history, see if your local library or your favorite bookseller has a copy of "The Gods of Eden" by William Bramley (Amazon link). I think you would find it a very interesting read, even if you don't completely buy into the author's hypothesis, and it might offer answers to some of your questions.

Wow, fascinating!

I can't really offer any answers other than what you can read in Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls. I'm just going to say that if you haven't read them yet, you likely should, especially with your background. Newton's work is the only really credible (and useful!) report of the afterlife that I've so far encountered.

Perhaps it might help to mention that other hypnotists have corroborated Newton's reports, and are getting the same consistent images from their own clients as well - including people of various religions and cultures who have never been exposed to the books.

If you ever arrive at the bottom of this story involving Don, Paul, and Kurt, I would be very interested to know what you find out. I wouldn't worry about falling into some kind of vicious cycle. It does sound like you've come here in this life to break their hearts, but the way they've all fallen for you suggests that they're willing participants in the lesson. The way you feel nothing for them makes me think this life and body have been chosen for you so that you don't get scarred in the process.

Having this as an episode in your life doesn't necessarily mean that this is what your life is all about, or that it must end prematurely. There might be all kinds of different things in store for you, this might just be something you've come to do before the other things happen.

I've fallen for someone in a similarly inexplicable way as you describe Don, Paul, and Kurt falling for you. I hope that what she felt for me was very different from the complete lack of empathy you are describing for these guys. Regardless, it was probably the most painful experience of my life. I had a precognition that it would be extremely painful on day one. I asked myself, do I want to do it anyway? The answer was a resounding yes.

I seem to have emerged from the pain, for the most part, though I'm still battered and bruised. I continue to have love for this person. I, too, have no answers. I tried looking for them, but no longer really expect to find them.

Some things, I suppose, we might only find answers for when we die. I suppose it's possible to live without them. It's not like we have a choice.
