Hmm ... The names were always of Arabic origin for me. Alnilam, Mintaka, Alnitak.
And it was always curved somewhat ... an arc of sorts.
Ancient Islam actually had very advanced astronomy and named so many of the stars and constellations. That was before the dark ages and all of that. Not exactly a history expert (but working on this) so I'm not sure of the exact terminology or timeframes, but you get what I mean. From early civilization to medieval times to Romantic times to now. Or something like that.
I am somewhat of an amateur astrophotographer and astronomer as well, and I particularly focus on Orion, and Sirius in Canis Major, and Aldebaran and the Pleiades in Taurus, because of their relevance and mention in the ancient mysteries -- The Sirius Mystery, The Dogon people in Africa, and The Orion Mystery. The Great Pyramids at Giza align with the belt. I believe Graham Hancock mentions this variously in his works like The Message of the Sphinx and Fingerprints of the Gods.
Here's my latest mandorla find. It's from the other night when I wondered, "What is the gender of the Italian word mandorla? And how is the word's gender relevant to all of this?"
The answer to that first question is "female." When I searched for the answer, I got this book passage instead from the book Heaven on Earth: God's Call to Community in the Book of Revelation by Michael Battle (I feel there's meaning to this author's name, but I've got no comment right now). Nice mandorla on the cover, btw. I don't know how to copy-and-paste from Google Books and it's too long anyways, but if you're interested, the relevant passage is pages 7-8 where the author connects mandorla symbolism with Jesus, the Book of Revelation, and the Apocalypse. You don't need to be Christian to find meaning from this passage.
I haven't decided on an answer to the second question yet.
That's all I have to add on to the mandorla tangent right now. This past week has been extremely intense with synchronicity, Mandela Effects, and other revelations. I'm still trying to process it all.
P.S. BTW, this...
>The German for egg is Ei (eye).
>
>An egg shaped like an eyeball winks at you.
I firmly believe this was a literal wink from the universe that something guided us here and we are on the right track. This was a message.
Thanks! I buy it the first chance I get. I recommend these two. https://www.amazon.com/Becoming-God-Ford/dp/0615149626 and https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0972509461/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491092254&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=my+big+t.o.e. I came across these two books on my journey. The first is a fairly easy book to read, and I would consider it an introductory to the way I feel things are. Many of you could probably read it in a night or two. It was here that I learned about the double slit experiment. The second book is a larger book written by a scientist, Tom Campbell. It is much more exhaustive. This will take more time to read, but it's also a very good book in my opinion.
Well, I went digging into all the famous "Gary"s I could think of—first off, Gary the Snail, is okay!
However, Gary Kasparov, world famous Russian chessmaster who played against Deep Blue... is now GARRY Kasparov.
Amazingly, I've been able to find about 20 books so far, supposedly penned by the man, that display his name as GARY Kasparov.

If you are interested in this subject I would highly recommend David Chalmers "The Conscious Mind".
If you are trying to make a database of sorts in regards to how auras work, I'd recommend start catalogueing your own experiences and intereactions, because the symbols and colors you use / experience will speak directly to you and may have different meanings.

It seems to have both titles in the amazon listing.
I always thought it was Portrait too,I read the book years ago and watched a movie of it I have found these on Amazon books

About the Author
Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde (16-Oct-1854 to 30-Nov-1900) was an Irish playwright, poet and author of numerous short stories and the Portrait of Dorian Gray.

I'm also a member of Deviantart and about half the art related to dorian gray is named portrait the other half is Picture
It's like half the world believes it's picture and the other half portrait which is very strange
Yeah, apparently it's the "reader's choice addition", whatever that means. It's like the publisher was annoyed by the ME so they decided to change the name back to what they remembered or something. Amazon
Here is another that Amazon calls "A Portrait of Dorian Gray" but on the image of the book it says "The Portrait of Dorian Gray." At least it isn't "picture."

Oh wait. "Coincidentally" there is a I and II 40th anniversary album going to be out Dec 1.

Oddly, Amazon is gonna start selling it in less than a month.
Sorry sourcing a book as a link (https://www.amazon.com/Our-Mathematical-Universe-Ultimate-Reality/dp/0307599809?tag=space041-20) There are some papers on google scholar but too high level for my comprehension.
I didn't know this was an ME, but Amazon has both listed, and a 3rd:
https://www.amazon.com/Picture-Dorian-Dover-Thrift-Editions/dp/0486278077/
https://www.amazon.com/Portrait-Dorian-Gray-Picture-Readers/dp/1450541712/
https://www.amazon.com/Portrait-Dorian-Gray-Oscar-Wilde/dp/1468012541/
So one just "picture" one is "The Portrait" and one is "a Picture".
But I am unclear on what this ME is claiming as both versions exist, did only one exist before?
nothing is lost, unless you choose to lose. you decide your energy, frequency, vibration and reality and what enters it.

I looked into it and that book has nothing whatsoever to do with CERN. Look, here it is listed on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2wGRQD7 with the names of the authors/editors and the year it was published. No mention of CERN. Their WWW severs simply indexed it because it was on the internet just as they index other internet documents.
I'm just pointing out a pattern I'm beginning to see more and more on the internet. People take unrelated pieces of information out of context, put them together, and find some vague association with another topic to stir up new conspiracies. For example, CERN did not do any "dance routines full of human sacrifice and occult laden imagery". If you saw some footage online, show us the proof that it was actually done by CERN.
People need to use some discernment here. In this Mandela Effected world, the internet is awash with all kinds of nonsense. It wasn't this bad in my old reality hence I associate it to this new strange world we find ourselves. It is even more imperative now to check everything out for yourself and not buy anything someone says online. Some of us have been fighting to keep these nonsense conspiracies (distractions) out of this site so that we're focused on what we know for sure is real because we're experiencing it - the Mandela Effect.
