This looks exactly like these Metal Earth models. I have this one and they're pretty fun to build. It is more expensive, about $6.95 with prime but it isn't from china and you can get these in regular stores. I've also gotten numerous other Metal Earth models and they're really fun to build and they look great as well.
This book is probably the most detailed book I've found. It's got a lot of good details on the program and design of all the different aircraft. It also has a CD with pictures and aircraft manuals.
For those on a budget, pages are online here. For those who want the commentary, check the usual sources, like Amalzon and B&N.

It has to be pressurized, there was 3 nitrogen canisters at the front of the ship in the landing gear bay to pressurize the 6 tanks.
As they empty of fuel during flight, the pressure increase from descending would crush them. They were integral tanks so if that happened, you would probably have catastrophic failure.
