Happy to help! If you want to find more to read, be sure to check out the book's bibliography. Academic books usually have a long list of references, and it's a good jumping off point if you want to go deeper into the subject.
You might also want to check out The Caucasus: An Introduction. I haven't read it myself, but it's recommend by the author of The Ghost of Freedom (in this article). The table of contents has two chapters on modern Georgian history and nationalism, and it has good reviews.
I recommend this 172-page book by a female Georgian journalist based in London: Georgia - Culture Smart!: The Essential Guide to Customs & Culture.
It is the DJI Mavic Pro and this was in June of 2017.
I know there's also Socialism in Georgian Colors which is a more academic and less concise version of what you found, but probably isn't what you're looking for.
Edit: Socialism in Georgian Colors is actually more about the social democratic movement in Georgia from the 1880's right up to the start of the DRG, so that description of mine wasn't accurate. I just began reading The Experiment a few days ago and don't think the slant is obscuring any important information, if that's what you're worried about.
