I've been extremely happy with the Whitestone Dome. I did 2 of them (first my Note 10+, then my wife's). They sell it in a 2-pack which brought the price down to about $30 per. Still 3x as much as for any other tempered glass protector I've purchased but it's definitely a much better product in that the liquid adhesive really does a great job on the curved screen.
It's definitely the kind of thing that would be perfect for a service business (mall kiosk, etc) to install since there's a lot to absorb and learn and my second one took 1/2 the time as the first. But if you're careful and plan it out well it's not especially hard. I'd say be especially patient for the glue to spread (I waited 3 minutes, not 1:20 or whatever they recommended) and be patient with the UV light (I probably cured it for 10 minutes rather than 5).
I also did it last thing in my day so I was able to leave it out on the counter for several hours while I slept. That's not to say that one might not also be perfectly successful at it with the times given but these all seemed like areas of the process where more time couldn't hurt and since I hope to keep the phone and the protector for years, investing a few more minutes was no big deal.
The end result you really can't even tell it's on there except for the cutout at the top. Oh, and another key thing I think is a case that doesn't interfere. We both use this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SSW6DB2 and the case doesn't touch the protector anywhere which I think helps a lot with the protector staying attached.
I use DeX all the time! I've used with TV/Monitor as portable PC. I also just got the Galaxy Book 2, and I love having dual OS on the same machine. I can drag and drop files from my PC to my phone in seconds. It's got dual BT, so you are good to do keyboard and separate mouse. I actually recommend this one:

It has a pretty cheap kickstand on it but it's working for me. It also comes in a model without a kickstand. My AURA GLOW Note10+ looks good in the clear case.
