Not a task to be undertaken lightly. You will likely spend more money on tools and supplies than on actual silver. It's fun as heck, though, and learning the process is it's own reward.

To see what kind of hell process you're getting into, I recommend Practical Casting: A Studio Reference by Tim McCreight. Welcome and good luck!

Once it's out of the flask it comes off pretty easy I polish with the 3m rubber publishing wheels like these There is a mild acid that is supposed to be good at breaking this stuff up but I haven't tried it yet https://www.amazon.com/BUYGOO-Abrasive-Bristle-Brushes-Mandrels/dp/B07G8WC2QF/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=3m+polishing+disc&qid=1573009011&sprefix=3m+polishing+di&sr=8-5

You will like this BOOK there is one used spiral bound copy still available as posting.

EVERY rotary casting machine I have used has been mounted inside some tub or shallow weighted drum.

I'd suggest you check out Chasing & Repoussé which specifically talks about what you want to learn. I'd also strongly suggest Creative Metal Forming and The Complete Metalsmith.

They sell graphite blanks on Amazon, then a desktop cnc mill would make short work of it.

a lazy susan is a flat table that can be rotated, usually used int he center of dining tables to carry commonly used condiments.

easiest way, mount this to your bench, mount a board to the top of it, mount your bottom mold (the cope) to the board.

spinning the mold forces the silver to run to the outer areas, in this case deep into the ring mold forcing the silver to reach every area, the oversized sprue is acting as a reservoir so you don't end up with shrinkage porosity ruining the piece.

If you are serious about silversmithing you will eventually need to get an oxygen/propane system. There are a number out there smith little is one brand. You can get by with a creme Brule torch but it only goes so far and it takes longer.

Honestly, I'm lazy & got the borax on amazon.

It's a necessity.

edit: the one i linked was $12 when I got it but horribly expensive now, I'd look for another one on amazon if you can't find it locally.
