Just follow this guide, but don't use the bleach when you throw them in a washer. I recommend getting a cheap pillow case from target or something too. I got mine for $5 for 2 cases. I also would recommended getting some Crep for the scrubbing part instead of soap, just remember to be softer on the primeknit. Plus, the crep kit (which you can find at journeys or some other shoe stores if you don't want to buy online) is great for cleaning when they're starting to get some dirt on them before they get too beat. You should be able to fix these up pretty easily!

Just Amazon's cheap ones. The good thing about this one is that you could stack them as many as you want. A bit tricky with high tops tho (only top level can hold high tops). So if you have a lot of high tops I suggest getting something else. As for size, I wear 9.5. So i think it should be fine for size up to 12~13? I mean if you don't mind the rears of your shoes sticking out a little bit, you can put in whatever sizes you want.

u/BigBen96 · 9 pointsr/Sneakers

Right here! They're kinda pricey but I got them for free with Amazon rewards points.

u/southtea · 2 pointsr/Sneakers

i've got some all white NMD's and i've tried so hard to clean them. Washing machine, hand washing, jason markk, etc. Nothing works. they are still yellowing. never getting all white shoes again

What I did find is using an oil based white sharpie on the boost is MAGIC. (https://www.amazon.com/Sharpie-Paint-MParker-White-35568/dp/B0026HC9F4) the boost looks brand new after a coat of it

u/tokyorevelation9 · 2 pointsr/Sneakers

So I decided to grab these from NDC with some leftover gift card credit because of this thread - looks 10x better clipped like this.

Just FYI I'm holding you personally responsible if I fuck mine up when I try to do this /s .

P.S. Do you think a fuzz/pill shaver like this will work to smooth it out?

u/kxlle · 4 pointsr/Sneakers

post of what it looks like after

I would assume it looks fine long term because the oil would soak into the boost and keep it white until it got dirty again (vs. painting over it that would chip off), use a white oil sharpier - I think this is the right one. https://www.amazon.com/Sharpie-Paint-MParker-White-35568/dp/B0026HC9F4

/u/Ouranox /u/brokeandfamous would be great if you guys gave advice because I haven't personally done this yet.

Btw, you can use a hot air dryer to uncrease your NMD blocks as well, if you haven't seen that post yet :)

rack is super modular and customizable and light, super would recommend for space and budget peeps who spent all their money on shoes instead

> Clean your turtle doves with the crep kit

This kit?

> then buy sole protectors

Is the Crep one good? This one specifically.

Thanks!

u/danksupr3me · 1 pointr/Sneakers

I have heard really good things about Kiwi whitener I am not saying buy from here but this is one of the first links I found to it just by googling.
Many other people pain their boost but I heard that can take a bit of time. Good luck

u/Sneaker2Sauce · 0 pointsr/Sneakers

Use soap and water or and sneaker cleaner.

As far as if your boost is yellowing you will need to paint over it to do that you need to
Get angleus leather paint
Put thin coats drying with a hair dryer in between coats
Use a finisher

Another method I have see used on white boost is to use a sneaker paint pen
(https://www.amazon.com/KIWI-Sport-Shoe-Whitener-4-0/dp/B000UDEBMA)
Just an example ^
And you can just use that on the boost

u/SweatpantsHero · 1 pointr/Sneakers

I used a sharpie to clean up my soles, worked pretty well. I also saw these at my local target.

The rack is from Amazon. I switch out shoes on the rack maybe once a week.

The rest of my shoes are in my closet. Couldn't get the entire wall in the shot, but that's some of it.

The Vans are from the CDG x Supreme collab from earlier this year.

I used an electric razor on my ubs. I'll be honest they don't like they're brand new but they looked better than before. I've only read that manual razors work. So my advice is test a small spot to see how it does. Go with the grain, and press light enough to cut the fuzz.
I also just thought about it, a fabric shaver might work as well.

u/hudshmote · 1 pointr/Sneakers

I'm using this and this. I've painted one cage so far and it looks great. Use thin coats though!

u/Wiscanson · 1 pointr/Sneakers

Yeah from the pictures I think I agree with you. Thoughts on how these would look? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYRWHWK/ref=twister_B06ZZMVPM8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

u/poopmanscoop · 4 pointsr/Sneakers

You need to get your hands on a sweater shaver. A buddy of mine fixed the suede inserts on his seats that looked just like this. Then you can use a suede brush to make it look like new.

u/Non_Non_Non_Heinous · 2 pointsr/Sneakers

This shoe rack seems to be popular here (I've seen people ask about it often when small collections using it are posted) can be stackable, and doesn't break the bank.

Not sure of the budget, but another idea might be a sneaker cleaning set (brushes, wipes, and solution) from brands like Jason Markk or Crep, etc. ($30-$50 range)

Quick Update:

Started looking into Shoe Storage by SongMics on Amazon

SongMics 10 tier stoarge closet

Maybe this might be something in my budget range. Has anyone had any good experiences with this product?

u/Full_Aperture · 1 pointr/Sneakers

Before you use any liquid based cleaner, try a suede eraser and brush kit.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D1HU4N6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_GrXKAb5EVH0CB

Use the brush first to loosen up the material and get surface stains out and then lightly rub with the eraser to get the deeper embedded stains. If there is still discoloration left, use a cleaner like jmarkk or crep.

u/SavageBeatsJuugin · 3 pointsr/Sneakers

The laces are sick nice shoes

Edit: if anyone is curious on the laces I found these reps on amazon here. The original site is sold out and never restocking

u/TheGoodAndTheBad · 6 pointsr/Sneakers

u/Aceing · 2 pointsr/Sneakers

I just picked these up in Venice last week. Saw a post with these laces on a pair of primeknits and I liked them. Any lace recommendations for this pair of sneakers?

I used vinyl, I don't know how long it'll hold up full disclosure. But I've used it on cars in the past for years and I think it'll hold up. It's easy to work with and change out colors. But again do it at your own risk.

I wanted a quick way to change things that's non permanent. Let me know what you think.

Black wood grain vinyl:

I'm not affiliated with the seller, but I've been asked enough times for the links. Really any vinyl should work if it was mean for cars. It's durable.

Yeah it says black because when the can itself is black haha. Its purple on he pic on amazon but when i got mine it was black

u/Dj_Green · 6 pointsr/Sneakers

You can order this from Amazon. Or you can go to Walmart and buy this. I think a lint roller might do the job as well.

u/afipanic · 1 pointr/Sneakers

I use this type of sharpie to paint my boost back to white on other pairs. They have a black, you could give it ago and see what happens.

u/spmusik · 1 pointr/Sneakers

I’ve done exactly this on 3 pairs of boost kicks.

SHARPIE MED WHT OB PAINT MARKER

u/patcos28 · 2 pointsr/Sneakers

Crep Protect would be my recommendation. It’s $15 but it works well and lasts a while

u/drewrover · 1 pointr/Sneakers

Any particular one you would recommend?

I’m looking at getting this one: https://www.amazon.com/Miscly-Suede-Nubuck-4-Way-Eraser/dp/B01D1HU4N6

u/PoserMobile45 · 3 pointsr/Sneakers

I'm going to get alot of shit for this! When I got the shoes the midsoles were BURNT yellow, hadn't been cleaned in years. After I hit them with the Jason Markk, I purchased this sharpie and colored over the midsole, made it crispy white. It's an oil based white and made them look BRAND NEW! Hope that helps.

u/Silvanovaca · 3 pointsr/Sneakers

It's [this one from Amazon] (https://www.amazon.com/Seville-Classics-Resin-Wood-Composite-Utility/dp/B00336TY0K) stacked on top of one another

Edit: I have the same one(s)

u/Ouranox · 1 pointr/Sneakers

I used an oil based marker, more specifically this one. I made a previous post showing the before and after here. The good thing about this method is that there's no cracking since it's ink not paint although I'm still waiting to see how long it takes before the ink wears out after wear.

u/Khord · 1 pointr/Sneakers

I terminated them just behind the cage using clips like these, and cut the excess lace off

https://amzn.com/B00JOMBZQ8

u/supremeleaderofRDT · 1 pointr/Sneakers

They're called drop front shoe boxes. You'll need the large size to fit sneakers. They're kind of pricy but here's a link to them on
Amazon

I just ordered flat black leather paint off amazon.

Angelus Leather Paint 1 Oz Flat Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0196TA1YA?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

There may be better paint out there but for such a small label I didn’t bother shopping around.

Someone stepped on my light suede air forces and I bought this (Shacke Suede & Nubuck 4-Way Leather Brush Cleaner https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IIFFEPU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-dq4Bb7NCQ61R ) suede brush to brush away the dirt.

After brushing gently, I am left with a horrible blue stain on my shoes... anyone know how to fix this?? I’m so heartbroken.

Crep is ~$15 for a 5oz bottle and JM Repel is ~$17 for an 8oz bottle

Crep $3/oz, JM Repel $2.22/oz. /r/theydidthemath

Fuck all that, if I'm gonna do it I'll just do it right.

Brand | Price | Bottle Size | Cost/Oz
---|---|----|--
Crep | $14.37 | 5 oz | $2.87/oz
JM Repel | $16.72 | 8oz | $2.09/oz
Kiwi (Shoe) | $8.95 | 7.7 oz | $1.16/oz

  • [Tarrago High Tech Nano Protector](https://www.amazon.com/Tarrago-Hightech-Nano-Protector-Spray/dp/B003U47QBY/ref=sr_1_19? s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1498842954&sr=1-19&nodeID=7141123011&psd=1&keywords=shoe+protector+spray) | $9.69 | Written in Metric so idk ^^it's ^^8.45 | $1.15/oz *

All prices are when I checked it so if you're finding this later just do the $ amount/fl oz size of bottle.

Kiwi is the second cheapest and was vouched for by /u/thikthird.

Tarrago is the absolute cheapest (by 1 cent over Kiwi) and I have seen it vouched for several times, so if you got $10 pick Tarrago or Kiwi.
