Welcome! I open all my steels simply they look to good to be covered by j.cards and stickers from the retailers. Also digital codes and the discs are inside and most movies I have steelbooks of I enjoy watching again. Very few of mine are still wrapped.

I put mine in plastic sleeves/bags (very cheap but definitely not most elegant option) I got on amazon but am currently looking in hard plastic options. retro protection seems to have some good ones.

If you buy multiple editions of the same title it’s gonna come down to how much you like the different editions and what your wallet says. I for example thinking about getting another blade runner 2049 just bc of the design and also replaced my kingsman steelbook for a newly released design and sold my previous one.

When you start looking at premium retailers (like manta labs or blu fans) you should check if it’s a WEA (world exclusive art - only available from one retailer) or WWA (world wide art - available from multiple retailers). They usually release 3 or 4 versions that mainly differ by the (Lenticular)slipcover and which format is inside (4K/2D/3D/digital). They also release a “1-click” that’s all versions of one release combined. So most often 3/4 times the same steelbook with 3 different slipcovers (of course there are always exceptions). The best chance to get one of those premium releases is through group buys in various forums (here on reddit, highdefninja, mediapsychos,...).

Personally I like both arts. I think the Best Buy one is gorgeous in hand, and I can't wait to get this one too.

I actually used magnetic sheets.

They have an adhesive side but I just stapled them to the wall using a thin caliber staple gun. To be honest I even cut those sheets in half and spaced them about a few inches apart. They are surprisingly strong and could hold more than 1 steelbook easily with half a sheet.

Amazon UK listing has it including a gold coin, a metal hotel lobby card, and a slipcase. I actually don't remember that version including the coin but just the metal card? Guess they added it or I forgot! They also like to point out that the gold coin isn't made from gold haha.

using this i have been cutting it in 5 x 4.75 squares and you can get 55 out of each roll that way. i also feel like you could get away with making them smaller. I however personally feel that they are going to be more secure the way i did it.

Measuring out spacing on the wall was the hardest part. I'm able to mount almost 100 steelbooks for about $35.

You can get them in double width, triple width, quadruple width. I just added a second quadruple width.

That's how I got mine. It shipped well protected but will take about 2-3 weeks.

I use Malko protectors from Amazon. 10 for $12. Fully inclosed with tabs. Cases have protective peel plastic as well. If you don't like the tab, it can be snipped off and be used as a closed flip case.

Available on Amazon Italy. Not quite as cheap as Zavvi, but not many other options, and probably cheaper that eBay profiteers.

The Incredible Hulk steelbook (the 'proper" one anyway) was Blu-ray only and is an FYE exclusive. You wont get it at Best Buy.

You can still get it from FYE locations though if you shop around or maybe online. It's been as low as $9.99 (rarely, though) but goes on sale regularly for $12 to $14. Here it is at FYE currently for $12.99 (also, despite the images, there is no Blu-ray/DVD logo on the spine. It's format-neutral.)

Universal DID release a 'generic' comic-book style Steelbook to all retailers some time ago, if you like that design, but again, NOT in 4k either.

You CAN buy the film in 4k from just about anywhere in a snap-case (Amazon has it for about $10), and then put the two together in the Steelbook if you so desire. Note: Walmart is putting on a bunch of 4k titles (Marvel included) for $7.96 if you're going out on Black Friday... which titles exactly is uncertain.

So, your total cost to put the two together is about $24... not bad, really.

I'm nit exactly sure how picky you are about your Steelbooks being from either the US or UK, but here is Jumaji from amazon.de!

I used those sheets and cut them into 4 evenly pieces. They're adhesive magnetic sheets so 1 side you use to stick on the wall, and the other side you stick the steel books to.

I used some extra tape to prevent the adhesive tape to fall off due to the weight of the steel books. The magnets themselves are very strong so it really holds them in place.

Once in a while you can see the adhesive fail due to the weight of the steel books hence the use of tape for reinforcement.
