Best advice I can give new parents of twins is to get (or make) a Twin Journal. Something like this.

Everything starts blending together pretty quickly, and it can be hard to figure out who hasn't pooped in two days, or who ran a slight fever and when, or who ate how much. We bought ours from Amazon.. they were a spiral notebook, and it saved us so many times. It'll be hard to remember things when at the doctors office, and that's where the journal comes in handy. Trust me. - We also wrote milestones and appointment notes in them.. which was really helpful looking back on things.

Get them on a schedule. Don't let them set the schedule.

Edit: I think we got these [Two for the price of one on this site]. They're in a box in the attic now or i'd have a better idea. "Twin log book" is what you're looking for.

Yes, you have to buy the seats separately, but they come with the bases.

Smart move on not getting used.

Unsolicited advice... Get them this book. It has saved us. Our babies are sleeping through the night (11:30pm-7am). Best thing ever.

My girls got these for their first birthday and love them! They also got a few go go smart animals that they like carrying around (although they don't have much interest in the track yet) there are also cars. Books are always a good idea as well, and at that age they're just starting to be able to understand puzzles
