My hair is kinda meh. It's not super fine but it's poker straight. I've always liked curly hair so I always had perms. While perms are easy they're expensive and the end result does not look natural imo. Then I discovered foam rollers like these

These babies have been a total game changer for me. You wrap your hair up and they're comfortable enough to sleep in. The end result is completely natural looking curls that last all day. On day two it's not as curly but it still looks great.
I'm mentioning these because anyone who wants to add volume to their hair should try them. They will make your hair super curly if you use a lot. But if you wrap large pieces of hair and only use a few you should end up with gorgeous waves and amazing volume.
It doesn’t get hairier when you shave it. Look it up.
I’d recommend threading as over a long period of time the hairs start getting more fine. When I was younger, I used to bleach it but honestly I don’t think this is the best solution as the hairs are still visible in the light. They are just blonde.
Veet works too but my skin was too sensitive for the one I tried. Def test it in a small area first lest you show up for dinner with a red upper lip.
I currently use those dermaplaning blades (link below). My parents were anti-shaving and I had to sneak to a dollar general to buy my razors when I was in school. My rec is to just shave it, don’t tell your parents, hide the razors. They should have these at a Walmart/Target. Just be more careful, open the package away from home and dispose of it, hide the razors like they are matryoshka dolls.
