I already have a 128GB Class U-3 Samsung card, and I'm perfectly happy with it. But, if I were to buy a bigger one, I'd get this one, no question:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073JY5T7T/
For a class U-1 microSD card, I'd say ~$80 is a very reasonable price. You probably won't notice the difference between Class U-1 and Class U-3 speeds, but I would highly recommend only getting a card that's class 10 or higher. If you get anything slower, especially class 2 or 4, you'll likely notice long load times in some games. That can get annoying pretty fast. Plus, when you're transferring games from your computer, especially en masse, you will definitely care about speeds more than you would while playing.
Oh, and about other brands, or getting something cheap from AliExpress, I would highly recommend that you don't do that. I've only had to make that mistake a few times before ever doing it again. For some reason, knock off cards are a gamble when it comes to quality, and I always end up with the junk ones :/
Happy hoarding!
I have the OLED also, and this is the exact SD2Vita I purchased. Sure the price is a little higher than other cards on Amazon/eBay, but I can guarantee you it works perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/Funturbo-Ultimate-Version-SD2Vita-Adapter/dp/B07F63FPT3/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=funturbo+sd2vita&qid=1557193790&s=gateway&sr=8-2
The microSD fits very snug into the adapter, and the SD2Vita adapter fits nicely into your Vita slot. I have tested with both a 128gb Sandisk Ultra, and 256gb Samsung EVO. Good luck!
It's not an OLED one, but if you're willing to trade off a nicer screen for better battery life, slimmer profile and a slightly less quality screen (it's really not a bad panel), Above All Games on Amazon is selling new black PCH-2001 Sony Playstation Vita Slim Wi-Fi consoles for $224.00 new w/ free 2-day shipping for Prime members. I just recently bought one and can confirm it was brand new product with FW 3.55. Now running on 3.65 Enso CFW!
EDIT: Here's the link - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PV515DU?th=1
Since no one seems to know this: For your #3, there is usb cable called an A male to A male usb cable. It's possible to use QCMA like you would with a vita, but troublesome.
Make sure you don't forget to link the PSTV to an account (make another one if you need to) during the initial setup to activate it so you can install Adrenaline (easily) unless you want to hunt for a psp demo and hope PSN spoofing is working.
I never could get FileZilla to work (router), but had luck with the more full featured WinSCP. You'll need to FTP over VitaShell 1.61 for the full usb support.
There's a discrepancy between your UK amazon, and my US amazon then. Its 44.99 1 day shipped.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XWZWYVP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And they fucked up, so I managed to get 2 for that price lol. Woohoo, go amazon!
I'm a little antsy when it comes to "2nd hand" ownership, or sites without a strong return policy, such as amazon's personal warehouses. I bought a 256 GB Officially branded, sealed ADATA SD card, and it was resealed to look brand new as it was only a 16 GB SD card off ebay. Thank god for paypal, because Ebay would of said to wait a month.
i ordered this 200gb card and its been working great https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V62XBQQ/
have about...30gb free now lol
PSV games are anywhere between 0.5-3GiB in size, so 20 games would take at most 60GiB. PSP games are usually 0.1-1.5GiB in size. 64GB sd card is 59.6GiB in size, so it's really cutting it for your requirements. You might be better off with a 128GB card.
Btw, sd cards dropped in price by a lot in the last 7 months, 128GB card used to cost 40USD a year ago (and 80USD a year before that), but now they are just 20USD. I have had good experience with these Samsung 64/128/256GB cards and this 400GB SanDisk card. Make sure the sd cards you get are not fake sd cards, check these two videos.
You will not need the TF Card Plugin for StorageMgr, something is off.
I would recommend you start over again and use the following guide: https://vita.hacks.guide/storagemgr
This is the trusted guide the community recommends. I can tell you that I have used it for 4 SD2Vita jobs and it worked without issue for all of them.
You should be setting your SD2Vita to use ux0, that is where all Vita App's need to launch from. You can use your Vita Memory Card as the uma0 if you want to use it for Adrenaline.
Lastly, make sure you are using SD2Vita 5.0, that one seems to work for everyone. I have tested it on PS 1000, PS 2000 and PSTV and it works on them all
It would be amazing to have a software solution to this.
At the moment I have to use a ps tv to capture game footage. It needs a special hdmi splitter that can strip the hdcp from the ps tv (this is the one I use in case anyone wants to do it too http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004F9LVXC/ ) and I feed that into a capture device (mine is a hd pvr2 but any capture device will do).
This is a good guide until we get something for the vita itself: https://www.reddit.com/r/VitaTV/comments/35zpfk/how_to_capture_video_with_a_pstv/
Well, if your willing to pay full price for a vita buy it from here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00PV515DU/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1501700913&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=psvita&dpPl=1&dpID=41IQOZZxShL&ref=plSrch. They are warrantied to be under 3.60 because Sony stopped support for it long time ago. But I still believe bidding on eBay is the best option, doesn't hurt to try.
Last month, I got a brand new Vita on Firmware 3.55 from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Sony-PlayStation-Vita-WiFi/dp/B00PV515DU/?th=1
There are multiple sellers on Amazon. Make sure you get the one with the seller called "Above All Games" and "Fulfilled by Amazon". Read the User Reviews and many of them corroborate with my experience.
Same. I'm using this one because I have a Prime membership and got super fast free shipping and I'm an impatient ass. Works fantastic.
I have this: https://www.amazon.com/XBERSTAR-Newest-Version-SD2Vita-Adapter-Loading/dp/B0798JJ82Z/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1535913225&sr=8-5&keywords=sd2vita
And a Japanese Vita Slim, I can take it out without any issue just like a game cartridge. I take it out, reboot my console and it default back to the 2GB built in storage that the slim has. I can easily play physical games that way.
Not sure how it would work if you have a Vita memory card though.
So I found this on Amazon. I think I'm just going to sacrifice my WD Blue 7200RPM drive which is 500GB and get this when I can. https://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-Aluminum-Enclosure-RX35-AT-SU-BLK/dp/B004K4TE5O/ref=pd_sbs_147_4?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B004K4TE5O&pd_rd_r=W4G7Z65A9TT9ANSZ9VNG&pd_rd_w=Q1rez&pd_rd_wg=q9XKu&refRID=W4G7Z65A9TT9ANSZ9VNG&th=1
if thats the case what microsd would you recommend? is this one a good option for the ps vita? https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-MicroSDXC-Adapter-MB-ME256GA-AM/dp/B072HRDM55/ref=sr_1_3?crid=M7UFFAXNT0OS&keywords=samsung+evo+256gb+micro+sd+card&qid=1567190481&s=gateway&sprefix=samsung+evo+25%2Caps%2C183&sr=8-3
True. Does this look good to purchase? Wouldn't want to get scammed.
Yes, this is a slim PS Vita. The MicroSD Card I have is this one.
If you dont mine my asking why not just get a 128 GB card they are about 20 bucks on amazon...
Seems like having to do all that seems redundant if you could get a cheap option that in my opinion is better....
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073JYC4XM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5z34CbDNRDJKV
I would recommend this one if it’s possible for you to get, I notice you posted an Aus link so I’m not sure if you’re able to purchase this one: SanDisk 400GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - 100MB/s, C10, U1, Full HD, A1, Micro SD Card - SDSQUAR-400G-GN6MA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074RNRM2B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.DyJDbZM7T4Q8
Sounds like a fake or faulty card - leaning towards fake.

I only buy Samsung or Sandisk. I only buy from Amazon direct (not Amazon sellers) or from Bestbuy/Fry's.

Amazon has some good deals right now on 128 cards:
Samsung - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XWZWYVP/ref=twister_B071R715MZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Sandisk - https://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Ultra-128GB-Micro-Adapter/dp/B073JYC4XM/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1537325474&sr=1-3&keywords=sandisk+micro+sd+card

I would go with Samsung as they have never given me any issues.

I think that all the imports from Japan at Amazon comes with 3.61 or higher. I order the blue and orange versions and had to return them both. However, the black version which is not an import from japan came with 3.53 and I bought it on May 3, 2017.

edit-is this the correct product?
I had a HD CRT with hdmi for a few months and used a PSTV no problem with 480p & 1080i . It took a shit on me so now I have a flat screen CRT a sony. so im going to buy this box, https://www.amazon.com/Portta-Component-Converter-Scaler-support/dp/B00JVNUAEI?ref_=ast_sto_dp
