Sadly the Logitech G13 is left handed. i use it since i have nerve damage in my right hand that makes some stuff complicated, ive been using my G13 for 5 or so years and its amazing.

That said the Logitech g600 would work nicely, its 12 thumb buttons that are very easy to hit and contored nicely. it also has 3 mouse buttons, a left mouse button, right mouse button,a nd ring finger mouse button (which normally changes between 2 button hotkey profiles but i rebound mine to just be another key to use, then it has the middle scroll wheel which has a left click a right click and a push down middle click, THEN there are 2 more buttons on top.

All in all the g600 has 20 programmable buttons. with 2 quick switch profiles for 40 keys on the fly.

Its your best bet. ive had nerve damage in my left hand for 15 years from a pumpkin carving accident with a steak knife, so my left hand fingers are not very agile so the g13 was good to minimize the movement you would normally need to game on keyboard, but then 4 years ago i severed a nerve in my right arm and lost control of a lot of my arms mvoement accuracy and the use of my pinky, ring finger, so ive had to rely on the 2 of those more to supplement my lack of ability. I fully think a g600 mouse will be enough for just the right arm, i often get fatigued in my left arm due to nerve damage so i primarlly have to use the mouse and the buttons are wonderous.

if you get a foot pedal too you can do more. ive been planning to buy one for myself since my hands are not doing as well anymore so that i can have some feet buttons to press. ive been researching and i know "Stinky Feet" has one that ive heard is decent and gives more buttons than most other pedals. so between that and the mouse i think youde be perfect, just have WASD on the feet and jump maybe, then mouse to control aim and abilities.
Picture of Button Layout
i would set up the mouse as follows.

[LMB] [RMB] [OMB] - Fire Weapon, Aim, Spacebar / Jump
[Middle Left] [Middle Mouse] [Middle Right] - E / Melee, Alt Fire, FREE
[Back Middle 1] [Back Middle 2] - C / Push to talk, Esc / Menu

[ ] [ ] [ ] - Shift, Ctrl, C / Push To Talk
[ ] [ ] [ ] - Ability 1, Ability 2, Ability 3
[ ] [ ] [ ] - Ability 4, X / Use, F / Swap
[ ] [ ] [ ] - Q / Items, R / Reload, G / Mark

Then use that 4 button foot pad for WASD and you are set. I hope that helps give you ideas. Trust me i can relate well with your friend and i just hope i can be of some help. Im constantly looking over my shoulder for the day i completely lose control of one of my arms, it will happens some day so i like to be prepared in case it does.

Around 2005 I bought the Razer Diamondback Plasma Limited Edition.

It was rather expensive but there wasn't much going on the gaming peripherals at the time, razer being probably one of the best. It still works until this day, although it has developed a slight connection issue on the USB connector. I'm pretty sure if I just replace the connector it would be good to go again. Bottom line, was a beast.

Years later I got their keyboard (a membrane one, can't remember which) and the deathadder chroma. Both failed a few months in. Especially the mouse, it felt like cheap plastic, same kind my 2€ mouse from China is made of, except it costed nearly 100. Left button stopped working and had to be returned. Meanwhile, I already had a Logitech g502. It's been around for a few years now and it's still my daily driver. Bought the g413 keyboard a few months ago and it hasn't got any stuck key like the Razer. Synapse software also sucks, it crashed a lot, especially in the heatmap feature, it was constantly asking me my login credentials and it was probably poorly optimized considering how heavy it seemed. Logitech software is pretty decent, I can't find anything wrong with it. It's full of features and you never even know it's there until you need it. I can't remember it crashing.

Razer had the chance but lost me to Logitech.

> Did the person who thought charging an ability linked to 1 was a good idea ever tested using a keyboard? It is awfully restricting to hold 1 and move at the same time, holding any key above WASD requires an awkward hand positioning or... releasing some keys and losing mobility, something you can't afford doing when you are NOT A TANK or use a GamerTM mouse or a macro.

While I get where you're coming from, this has no effect on me at all, because I use a Nostromo. I suspect a fair number of people do (or have equivalents). You know all that "my hand cramps when wave dashing!" business? I don't experience that either. I don't want to be that guy, but a $60-70ish dollar purchase makes your life a lot more bearable in a lot of games, not just Warframe. Moving with your thumb instead of three fingers is god tier.

> Charge duration is VERY slow. You can literally kill anything with weapons faster than what it takes to charge that fireball, and -repeating myself- AoE is too small for it to be worth taking into account. And even then, I DO NOT want a flashy effect on abilities, abilities need to be USEFUL before they are "cool".

Have you tried cast speed to enhance the charge time? Legit question, I haven't played Ember yet. I'm still experimenting with Chroma. Also I'm betting the napalm effect should be scaling with range and duration, but currently doesn't. Consider how effective the fireball would be if you could drop a few around like remote Oberon damage fields.

Also, DE, if you're reading this: Ember gains bonus power strength for being on fire. Why not have her also gain bonus power strength from standing in fire? Like her own, not just environmental fire.

As the Warframes are near-human-looking constructs, start your drawing by learning how to draw a correct human form first, especially the body musculature. You should not need to invest in learning a proper rendering of human facial structure if it bothers you since it won't be used for a Warframe concept anyway (and to tell you the truth, a rendering of human facial expression is one of the hardest subject to master).

This book is one of the very good source for that. I highly recommend it if you have that inkling of desire to start learning to draw human anatomy for artistic purposes.

There are also a lot of online courses for human figure drawing. Free tutorials on Youtube and sites like DA are mostly fine too. Just remember that at the beginning you don't want to delve too much into the artistic aspect of drawing; get your basic / technicalities firm first then you can start being creative on your own.

Draw a naked human figure in a neutral or T-Pose as the base and put a lot of emphasis on the correct musculature (since the Warframes are usually lean and muscular). Do it three times each on a different camera shot: one for the frontal shot, profile shot, and rear shot. If it's done, start adding the skin or armor of your Warframe concept on that figure.

You could draw additional, a more detailed (close up) shot on complex things you need to explain more such as the details on the fingers, the gauntlet armors, the head armors, etc; but get the overall shot of your Warframe concept clear and right first before dwelling too much on the individual parts details.

One of the good rule of thumb of character design is if you could identify the character in a silhouette, it is a good design. Think about Mario in his signature jump pose, Megaman X while shooting his X-Buster, Ryu while doing Shoryuken, Superman in his flight pose, or other signature characters, and then think whether you could easily identify them even if they were just a silhouette.

People who play without sound instead of buying headphones. Look, I get it, you don't want to disturb your neighbors or your roommates (or you really prefer your music), but playing without any sound is seriously gimping yourself and communication with your squad. Sound helps you track Kuva in siphon missions, identify the position of incoming threats, and even identify which assassin is about to invade (Stalker's sound is very distinct).

Even if you don't have a lot of money for a nice headset, at least go out and buy a set of Koss KSC75 (these things are really solid for cheap headphones). Your teammates will appreciate it and you'll enjoy the benefits of proper stereo sound in your games.

I bought these for my GF's PS4. I put jump on the right and melee on the left. It's not as much control as a KBM, but it helps for sure. It's wired, and you have to make sure you turn on the PS4 without it connected, then connect after signing in. The paddles don't break, they actually fall out because they're connected via magnets. Don't toss it across the room, you won't lose the paddles. However, you also won't worry about snapping them because they just disconnect. Also the extra long charging cable is nice.

FWIW I use one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Collective-Dominator-Controller-Adapter-playstation-4/dp/B01L8QHXJA/ref=asc_df_B01L8QHXJA/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312141147012&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17258062101335092609&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9002310&hvtargid=aud-800703102928:pla-353370169105&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=62842319515&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=312141147012&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17258062101335092609&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9002310&hvtargid=aud-800703102928:pla-353370169105

It adds paddles to the back of my controller that are programmable on the fly. You hold a button on the adapter and press the button you want to assign. It allows me to use things like alt-fire on amps and guns in a much easier fashion. It can also be used to do things like jump or ADS.

Also, I have never needed or wanted to use the included mods, and basically got this to avoid buying a super expensive third party controller with built in paddles.

This is a great small-shop handbook

https://www.amazon.com/Practical-Casting-Studio-Reference-Revised/dp/096159845X

I work in jewelry/metalsmithing and do a ton of casting, and they look pretty good! I wasn't trying to be critical, only offering to help a tenno out :)

GOOD IF YOU LIKE "EPISODIC" STORIES RATHER THAN EPICS. I ACTUALLY LIKE THE FURY SERIES BETTER THAN DRESDEN.

My love,

Here is the link on the processor
https://www.amazon.com/Intel-i5-3550-Quad-Core-Processor-Cache/dp/B007SZ0EJW/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1484227716&sr=1-1&keywords=i5+3550k

For some reason i cant find the K version of it, but its some kinf of OC version, pretty old and not the most popular, it makes sense that amazon doesnt show it.

And this is the link on the RAM, 16GB + 1 4GB

Same thing as the G600 but 35 dollars USD. It's also indestructible. I threw it at a wall(don't ask) and it's still good as brand new, somehow.

Pushing the budget a bit but this seems good and up to date with times

My favorite mouse, the Logitech G700s.

4 side buttons which I use for skills, three buttons to the left of the left click button which i use for weapon switching, alt fire, and hitting 5. Unlatch the scrollwheel and the speed scroll is awesome for spam firing certain weapons.

I also run a Logitech G13 alongside it, but that's just my preference. Plus you can customize both the mouse and the gamepad with the same software, which is nice.

You can try and use something like this so you don't have to run on integrated graphics

u/squidthesid · 1 pointr/Warframe

Here you go. Just dip it in milk and you've got milk chocolate!

Why does no one just get a custom DPI mouse? Relying on the developer to cater to your DPI settings gets annoying.

This is the one I use.

If you live in an old house the wiring could be sending dirty power to your system and it skips some data while at full tilt because of it, leading to a crash.

If all other things you try don't fix it, you can get a UPS with voltage regulation (some don't do voltage regulation so double check). Or just go with a straight voltage regulator where you don't have to worry about a battery going bad in two or three years. https://www.amazon.com/APC-LE1200-Automatic-Voltage-Regulator/dp/B00009RA60

Any type of over clocking, even if the parts are rated for it, make a system more susceptible to crashing from even slightly dirty power.

The power could also become dirty from chineseium products or other cheap high draw devices. Some cheap LED bulbs can be really noisy.

Edit- a new power supply could be a fix, but it would get worn down the same as the current one if the problem is dirty power.
