Hi u/yajdem, I’d be glad to help you choose a portable charger for your iPhone X!

The best option is PowerCore 10000 PD. It supports Power Delivery. You just need a USB-C to Lightning cable.

I would not recommend a capacity much larger than 10000 mAh for just your phone.

Hope this helps! 🙂

Anker makes 18w 30w 45w and 100w wall chargers. Plenty to choose from. You want to make sure that the cable you’re using supports PD as well. Anker sells a cable that supports PD The most you need for a laptop is 45w. Now remember the wall chargers are rated as a total, not what each one will do, thanks to Anker’s IQ Tech say you have a 100w 2 port charger, well it’ll push all it can to one if only one device is plugged in but it’ll split, intelligently, if there are Two. So a 45w charger would be fine if ONLY the laptop is plugged in, iPhone 8 and up and Samsung and stuff like that can handle 18w max.

To charge both you'll need a regular Lightning cable and a USB-C to Lightning cable. Both the iPhone and AirPods came with regular Lightning cables, so you could use either of those.

Apple sells a USB-C to Lightning cable. So does Anker.

You'll want to use the USB-C to Lightning cable with the iPhone. It'll benefit from fast charging using that setup. The AirPods can charge either way, but won't fast charge.

If you have other devices you want to use the USB-C charging port with check out my site's cable page. At the top is a quiz to help you identify the type of USB-C cable is best for your needs.

this one is probably the best one for you. It has the usb c port to charge both the battery and your phone/laptop. And if you’re using the usb c to charge your laptop, you can charge your phone with the other usb-A ports (if you desire simultaneous charging). I use this battery on a daily basis for my iPad Pro and Nintendo switch, but I used to use it for my 15” MacBook Pro with touchbar. It is a fantastic choice (and it comes with a usb c cable and usb c wall adapter).
Enjoy it!

So you have two options in my opinion, one where it could be a great charger for your device and maybe someone else’s. And another that would be great for multiple charges and multiple people.

Anker PowerCore Slim 10000 PD https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PYG4JZR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_T9VsDbMM2MZQ5

The slim 10000 is a new Anker portable battery that I have myself. It’s of course slim, light, and easy pocketable. If you use a lightning to USB-C cable you will get a power delivery fast charge with your 8 plus from 0-50 in 30 minutes.

The second is the slim but with more charges allowing you to charge your device and other over.

If you need something that’s lighter and you don’t care about the power delivery I recommend the power core redux series.

> PowerPort III Duo will soon be available in Black.

Haha, how do you know this? Any chance they will also make it in red? :-O

> And there is a Red USB-C to Lightning cable.

Wow man, this looks great.

Truth be told, the only reason I was looking at the Fusion 5000 is because I wanted to get my mom a portable battery for her Spain trip in a week.

It was either going to be the PowerCore Fusion 5000 or this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N4WUT4I/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

I figured with the PowerCore Fusion, at least it will double up as a plug. And it's red, which will match up with the color of her iPhone XR, along with red USB-A to lightning cables also from Anker..

I was looking at Anker earbuds recently as well and went with the Spirit X - I forget the exact reasons I had though.

I did write a review that you can check out if you don’t know much about the Spirit X already. (The short version is they’re amazing if you aren’t used to $100+ earbuds.)

Another option for traveling is The Powercore II Slim 10000. It's a bit thinner and lighter. It is a bit longer but is about the size of iPhone length-wise. I have a couple of these and have had really good results (charging mostly Apple devices, and a Motorola)

Doesn't have USB C though.

They are essentialy upgraded Anker Zolo Truly Wireless, just rebranded as Soundcore. From a glance they have 5 more hours of play time and 50 more hours of charge on case. They are similar to these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GKHYVM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_4-zWDb3N8YNXY

Appeared on more Amazon websites, Italy is the cheapest, here is a comparison:

However, none of them ships Liberty Airs to Netherlands.

I would like to know if you guys are gonna offer more sizes for the Anker PowerLine II USB-C to USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 Cable in the future? 3 Feet is not long enough for me. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072JYDQ7N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_WnKSBb765Y95Z

u/mysnna · 1 pointr/anker

You could get something like this: https://amzn.to/2WBpIxh
It has 2 ports and 1 is PD that outputs at 18W.
The link above is my affiliate link by the way.

ELI5, how does this differ from the PowerPort II, which I picked up a couple months ago and alleges to output 30W?

u/Sleepy_xTaecy · 1 pointr/anker

They got released on amazon.de (Germany) a week ago, you just need a direct link (you can get it on the site of the 2 Pros) to access it.
Edit: Here it is

u/ganeshanator · 2 pointsr/anker

Using a power strip won't impact charge speed.

Why not check out the Atom PD2? It has two PD2 ports and will push 30W to each when both are in use.

How many devices do you plan to charge?

u/Zeela_D · 1 pointr/anker

They are up on Amazon ES too. At a cheaper price.

I was looking into the Anker Powerwave fast wireless 7.5W stand standalone, assume microUSB input. Requires QC2 or QC3 adapter for 7.5W fast charge. There is also the package Powerwave wireless stand with fan + QC3 block. I already have the Powerport Atom iii 2 port block which has USB C PD (45W), 2nd USB A port says IQ2 (15W) .Will this Powerport Atom iii have right power to supply the 7.5W rapid charge for the wireless stand? Would I be using the USB A to the stand? Is there such a thing as USB C to micro USB cable? The price difference only about $10 more for the package which includes the QC3 block.

This is the one I have. When you click the button it just tells me how much charge it has. I really want to know if i should ask Anker for another or if this is normal. First time using a power bank. I just get annoyed that I have to unplug the cable to make it charge the second time. Also worried that it'll just get worse and stop charging the first time while it's charging
