Correct! Please allow me to clarify my post. Missile Command has of course been ported to many systems, but all the version are not the same. The Playstation/Windows95/98 version is a unique game, and it's actually pretty fun. It has a sort of story mode, and an updated arcade mode which is different from other ports. Atarimac, that Jaguar port looks awesome, but, no, after look at some screenshots this version is different.

I did manage to get a copy of the Playstation version of Missile Command, but using a controller is not as precise as the PC version, built for mouse support.

I'm going to just order the disc off Amazon. It's a simple solution that I hadn't considered in the age of downloading games. To be honest I didn't expect them to have it. I would have preferred to digitally buy the game on a cloud-based service so I could play it forever.

Here are amazon links for reference: https://www.amazon.com/Missile-Command-PlayStation/dp/B00001QHWI/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1466713837&sr=1-1&keywords=missile+command+playstation

If you like Missile Command, these are some nice underrated gems.

Get the Longhorn S-Video mod, a 25' S-Video cable, and a 25' stereo RCA cable. Your eyes and ears will thank you.

Edit: Looks like Longhorn isn't selling them anymore. There are modded consoles and mods on ebay. This one is essentially the Longhorn design

The RCA connection on the back of the Atari is a combination audio/video jack and it needs an RF converter. If you want to use a coax connection, you'll need something like this to convert it to coax:

https://smile.amazon.com/Coaxial-Female-Adapter-not-machine-specific/dp/B0028MXOF6/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=coax+atari&qid=1555814729&s=gateway&sr=8-1

If your TV’s coax connector is broken, you can use an old VCR to convert coax to separate RCA video and audio (yellow/red/white connectors on the back of the TV if you have them).

If you’re decent at soldering, you can modify your Atari to use standard yellow and white RCA connectors for audio and video instead of the combo RF signal that comes from the built-in port. You’l need to know which Atari 2600 model you have before you order a kit and make the modification.

Otherwise, you might want to see if you can get the coax repaired on your TV and just use something like what’s linked above.

Get one of these. It's a billion times easier than the game box switch.

An RCA cable..this should have everything you need cable and adapter for your TV. (Though you probably don't need one so long)

Now you just need to find a power supply
