/u/muhammad-ayeah .. like /u/floozbag54 said... I get meals from Plated.com [let me know if you want a free week of meals] and the boxes they come in are great for shipping beers. My process:

  • Electrical/hockey/silicone tape the caps [optional]
  • Wrap bottles/cans with two sheets of bubble wrap, an extra sheet around the neck/cap for anything bigger than a bomber usually
  • Shrink wrap to secure the bubble wrap, makes the wrap easier to reuse vs. tape
  • Ziploc individual bottles/cans or put all of them in a garbage bag if it's easier.
  • Place inside above mentioned padded shipper
  • For anything that'll take more than a few days shipping I do the box-in-a-box method and chuck the above in a slightly larger box with additional packing material. [optional]
  • Check extended forecasts and temperature trends along the route and ship early enough in the week so the box will arrive before Saturday and doesn't sit over the weekend.

Now... none of this guarantees a safe transit. Between low temps and rough handling breaks/leaks are inevitable so your best bet to prevent your box from getting pulled before it reaches your recipient is to use ziplocs or garbage bags to contain any breaks/leaks. Avoid shipping altogether when overnight lows are in the single digits or low teens, especially if you're shipping cross-country -- that's just asking for trouble.

I can only recomend you the shredder, which I always use for cutting cabbage. This cabbage shredder is made from natural wood. It has 4 blades made of stainless steel, which provideds quick and fine chopping cabbage for cooking sauerkraut or salad. As a bonus, the you will get good recipes for cooking sauerkraut and dishes of International cuisine:

If you want to cellar but don't have a cellar, consider doing what I did:

-get a cheap chest freezer from craigslist

-get one of these

http://www.amazon.com/Johnson-Controls-A19AAT-2C-Temperature-Controller/dp/B0002EAL58/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1417031293&sr=8-3&keywords=thermostat+regulator+johnson

(you can control the temp of the freezer pretty well. mine fluctuates between 50-55 degrees)

Finally, and this is not necessary (but I love it), get a raspberry pi , analog thermometer and a breadboard. I have mine tweet me the temperature inside every hour and email me if the temp goes above or below pre set thresholds.

I survived the Cellarmaker/Trillium/Other Half Juice Gymnastics line yesterday, and I got a new beer book today - Martyn Cornell's Strange Tales of Ale. So, I'm doing ok.

It's a bit steep I agree. But similar (Heineken only) products retail for $150, so I don't think it's out of the question.

i have a 22oz and plenty of 12oz of the oktoberfest i made.. it's brewed with honey and i added some sweet orange peel.

i believe i also have some of the pumpkin ale i made last year bottled. if not, i can send you a 5L keg of it but you need your own tap for it (it's a standard mini fridge keg http://www.amazon.com/Mini-Keg-with-Bung/dp/B0064OGVOK ).. i'd take any local stuff or homebrews you got.

The safest and easiest way is to [get a Pelican case.] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ALVE2W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Use a 750ml bottle to trace outlines in the pick and pluck foam(alternating bottle facing north/south), pluck that shit, and prepare to bring back up to 8 750ml bottles without any worries. It's leak proof, water proof, and will always be under 50lbs. even when full.

So, I got home, and decided to come up with something.

All in, a set of golden donkey nuts wouldn't be terribly pricey.
