To be fair, this one actually upset me a little. A lot of people don't even know who Caroll Spinney is, let alone that he has played two of the most recognizable characters in the world for the last 45 years. This is quite literally the man who, being a grown man turning 30 years of age in a few weeks, I grew up watching, and is still performing those characters to this day.
He is the man inside 'the bird', as he calls it. He is a talented puppeteer, educator of children across multiple generations, and a person who has impacted countless lives through his kindness and good nature... yet most of you have no idea what his name is, let alone who he is. Jim Henson is to the Muppets what Caroll is to Sesame Street. While Jim may have originated the concept of Sesame Street, Caroll is the one who brought it to life through his years and years of hard work and dedication to his craft. For those of you who haven't seen it, I strongly suggest you watch I am Big Bird: The Caroll Spinney Story. It's a fabulous piece about a man who has dedicated his life to his passion, and by doing so has influenced the lives of just about everyone born in the last 50 years. Very few can say they've accomplished something like that.
He is a person we can all learn from, both for the characters he portrays, and the person he is.
Not gonna lie the plot sounds solid, maybe you could try putting on the amazon store as an ebook, after all there is this gem there
