These are the things I bought this summer when I purchased my frist Blackstone.

For squeeze bottles: criteria: they dont leak as I take them camping https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076PT3BD9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

For spatulas & Scraper: Wanted ones that dont bend and hold up well without breaking the bank

Cafeteria trays: surprised how much I love/use these, such easy cleanup camping, no excessive waste of paper plates etc. Mine were red, pack of six, and a bit cheaper than what the price is showing now. I use them for everything, chopping veggies, preparing steaks, just toss the dirty one aside, grab a clean one, put the cooked stuff on them, let the steaks rest on them etc. Much sturdier than paper plates. But I also find myself using them at home a lot now when going outside and back inside. Easy carrying food.

Meat temp pen: its cheap and it works, not the best you can buy

Digital Read Temperature for the griddle. Cant find the one I bought

I already owned excellent quality dome lids. Get one! They work great for steaming vegetables, melting cheese, etc.

If you bought the new pro series with a lid, you can make things like pizza really well :) I made it all summer on my smaller 22" with lid and figured out the best base to set the pizza on was a wire cooking rack. I found the pizza stone worked as well but it got very hot directly on the griddle, and I figured it was just as easy to place it on a rack. Either the pizza directly or the stone on rack. So a cheap cooking rack is handy.

Lots and lots of paper towels :)

The more I think about it, the more I realize I don't really need it. I suppose it's probably meant for people doing catering or something like that. I originally thought I would swap it on and use it for burgers and dogs, but that seems like a lot of work and the griddle works fine for burgers anyway. I think it would still be nice to have grates for something that's extremely fatty and I want the fat to drain away quickly, or for something like veggies where I don't want it directly on the entire griddle (asparagus, maybe?)

One product that I saw used in this Youtube video was GrillGrates.

I got one of these because it reminds me of what I used when I worked at Wendy's way back. Works great and feels like it's gonna last forever.

I bought a generic one on amazon.ca (Canadian here) to save a few bucks. It is made by Broilmann and was $26.
But, amazon.com has this one by Blackstone for $25: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009G26FCA/ref=psdcmw_12759051_t1_B076ZH68GK and this generic one for $21: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07HKJ2XTN/ref=psdcmw_12759051_t2_B076ZH68GK .

I would not recommend stacking that many washers underneath the griddle top’s feet. I could see sticking 1 washer under one of the feet as a quick and easy fix to a slightly tilted griddle top but 4, no. The purpose of those feet is to hold the griddle top onto the frame. Is the foot even still inside the frame with that many washers between it?

Why not just stick something underneath your back left wheel, under the entire griddle frame? It would have the same effect without compromising the griddle top to griddle frame connection.

If I couldn’t get the griddle leveled, I was planning on using stainless steel coasters under the wheels, similar to these:

I didn't install the shelf and paper towel holder, but I might try to find a place for them... maybe in the cabinet area?

Little pricier, but this is the one I have:

Lamson 5x6 Turner

u/Namelock · 1 pointr/blackstonegriddle

Used one at Chick-fil-A. They used an oil-based substitute; rather than raw, off the shelf, sticks of butter.

I wouldn't recommend using sticks of butter if you plan on using it a lot.

I use mine on a Keter Folding Work Stand. It has not melted or been damaged. The surface area is big enough to set items beside the Blackstone while cooking.

This is the one I bought:

Blackstone lid

It hangs off the back missing the grease trap and providing a wind shield.
