Fantasic show, would definitely recommend getting a copy on DVD (Season 1, Season 2)

Peter Serafinowicz is also a pretty big fan of Boards of Canada. Here is a mashup he did of Rogybiv and Snoop Dogg (!!), or his BOC inspired mix for Solid Steel here

I've always enjoyed them on my V-Moda (the m100 model) headphones. they're pretty great headphones overall if you are willing to put forth the money.

Any good headphones would work. You can refer to /r/headphones' recommendation page.

Personally I can recommend Superlux HD668b's if you're on budget. Best sounding headphones for the price.

I'll mention a few artists/albums that seem to have been left out by the others. These are all very close to BoC in sound, and I strongly recommend everybody to check them out.

In rough order of suggestion:

Here is how to get video from your computer to your vcr or whatever uses the rca style video hdmi to av
and then you need a video to usb plus a program to get the video off tape and make it digital av to usb. Some other notes. If you have PC get the PC version and I think Windows is pretty lenient with screen sizes to you can display to a 4:3 tv monitor. For Mac I had to use a program called switchresX to set custom screen sizes.

If anyone's interested there's a popular science/history book "Jacquard's Web" by James Essinger that's about the relationship between Jacquard looms and the development of computers. It's a decent read.

Do yourself a huge favor and get yourself a proper preamp for that turntable. That mixer can't properly correct the eq curve like the preamp does.

EDIT: I might be wrong. Can't find any info on that mixer. Are those rca inputs for "Tape"?

There's a 2002 British film called Movern Callar that featured Everything You Do is a Balloon in the beginning sequence much to my surprise. Here's the soundtrack.

Amazon Prime has it if you're the legit sort of person.

...also YouTube. if you're feeling randy.

It's not cheap really, but you could use a circle cutter to make it circular. Just practice on something else before trying to do it.

I doubt it. There's not much money in releasing through Spotify, so some artists skip it. I've been waiting to check out the latest My Bloody Valentine album, but they haven't posted it yet.

Tomorrow's Harvest is only $6.99 from Amazon right now, though, if you want to buy it -- http://amzn.com/B00D6MJOAQ

the whole "album on an island thing" idea is from Tranqulity Bass and his Let the Freak Flag Fly album... http://www.amazon.com/Let-The-Freak-Flag-Fly/dp/B000YCBH6U/ref=ntt_mus_ep_dpi_2 just him on an island with a 64 track mixing console.
