Ah Group Theory... one of those big boy maths I always heard about. Sounds cool tho, basically smooshing up fractals into different ones right? It was all stats, calc and number theory for me, but I had an amazing multivar professor that was a topology guy so he talked to us about it some.

I commend your bravery for trying to survive academia. I read the first couple chapters of this book and ran away to the private sector with my CS degree. Wasn't brave enough for all that.

Yesterday someone asked about book recommendations about our club, but I think he/she deleted the thread(?) afterwards. Anyways, I've read good reviews about Building the Yellow Wall: The Incredible Rise and Cult Appeal of Borussia Dortmund by Uli Hesse. I haven't read it myself, but Hesse is one of the most experienced authors bringing the Buli to into the anglosphere, and I trust recommendations by 11freunde. Just in case anyone is looking for something to put on their Christmas wishlists :)

Does anyone know if this is playable in the US? I sort of already ordered it. It's supposed to be a Father's Day gift for my dad. He told me a story a few years back about how he was listening to the match commentary of the final on the radio as a kid (He was 11) and I thought this would be a nice gift.

Edit: I've never really dealt with the whole region code thing before, so please forgive the silliness.

According to their descriptions(gtc) yes, you'll have to try. Seems like British Amazon has them on sale too.

this might help you understand the clubs history a little bit more.

Collected writings of Rilke. Maybe this one.
