Thanks dude, they were fucking expensive though... i sold my 68 headrest seats to buy them :( I was gonna leave my back seats out too, but i thought it would look funky without them. Cheers for the link too! i'm planning on putting a discrete roll cage behind the front seats too, its kinda necessary if you're gonna race them.
I just noticed your door pads too, that was my project this week, mine were really similar to yours condition wise. I dont have pics right now, but this is what you need:
http://www.amazon.com/SEM-Paints-SEM15013-Color-Coat/dp/B00B3HXS8A (Has to be 'Landau Black')
It comes out great, but you need to make sure the pads are REALLY FUCKING CLEAN!!! seriously... if theres any dirt or oil they will look horrible. Use this before hand:
http://www.amazon.com/Sem-Products-Vinyl-Prep-Aerosol/dp/4678615343
As far as the door medallions go, i just used some polish and some steel wool. Then i sanded the old red paint out and reapplied it with a tiny paint brush. It looks pretty decent if you spend some time on it.
That's too true, theres nothing wrong with the Camaro's and the Mustangs that you see a lot, but it would be nice to see more mean big block Mopars driving around.
Racing in the Rain: My Years with Brilliant Drivers, Legendary Sports Cars, and a Dedicated Team https://www.amazon.com/dp/1893618714/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_cvbJwbZD282A2
It can get expensive, I'd recommend looking for a used copy.
Fun fact,
the guyRob Dickinson who started Singer is actually a great musician/singer and has at least one album (edit: found it) he released years ago. I love this album and I listen to it in the car all the time.I have a '93 that had the same problem. It's a wear item that takes about $10 and 30 minutes to fix. Watch this video and buy a set of these for each headlight that's broken (or from somewhere else for cheaper shipping. Eckler's?). You don't need to buy a brass gear. The whole point of this design is those plastic nubs wear down over time, but are super cheap and easy to replace.
Also I think it actually took me 2 hours, but I just sat in my living room and watched TV while doing it, so whatever.
Here's a quick example (only watch ~10 seconds of this, rest of the vid isn't worth it, keep your eye on the reflections on the doors): https://youtu.be/eb2qgUBTNRQ?t=1m39s
He's turning the polarizer left and right, and it blocks out certain reflections. You can see how they sort-of disappear.
Here's a better video of what you're doing after using one, and how much better the pics turn out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DZylNq5mAg
And, unlike most camera gear, they're only like $10.
EDIT: OP, Buy this! It fits your stock Cannon lens!

I've had good luck with a kit like this: http://www.amazon.com/3M-39008-Headlight-Restoration-System/dp/B001AIZ5HY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381187321&sr=8-1
It was one of the best, check out the book written about it.

That's Alex Roy. His book is a fantastic read
I usually get this and then dilute it for different needs
Simple Green Industrial SMP11001 Clean Building All-Purpose Cleaner Concentrate, 1gal Bottle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0017D1GG6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_5cWtDbTY0YKJG
I knew I recognized that name. Alex Roy wrote a book about his race across the US. Figures he would have something better than his M5
911 owner myself, make sure he checks the tire pressure often (buy one of these for $55, looks like the price went up: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RM5D9C3/ ) and takes it to the dealership often. It will last him many years.
It's actually a matte laminate but on top of chrome, so it creates a satin-like finish, so I wasn't wrong in my title
Yeah, photography as a hobby is up there with car collecting in how expensive it is. Bit off topic, but if you want to blow your mind, go look at some of the [telephoto lenses] (https://www.amazon.com/Canon-70-200mm-2-8L-Telephoto-Cameras/dp/B0033PRWSW/ref=sr_1_16?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1499099933&sr=1-16&keywords=canon+EF+telephoto) or for stuff even photographers think is a bit much, basically any [Hasselblad] (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1260272-REG/hasselblad_h_3013901_x1d_50c_medium_format_mirrorless.html).
I approve, I have this on my rear window
Volvo moose? https://www.amazon.com/myswedishparts-Prancing-Sticker-Yellow-peel-n-stick/dp/B01CEVV984
Amazon.co.uk has it for £299
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B00AMSM2VA/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1468413612&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=underglow&dpPl=1&dpID=51KccWjy72L&ref=plSrch
Long link haha...
This one ;)
Sorry, I thought it was called The Judge. It's actually The Last Ride, with Dennis Hopper.
It was a Westcott Ice Light
Edit: Sorry, no it wasn’t. Just remembered I’d used a Litepanels Astra LED light panel. I took it off the stand and used it handheld
