If you're willing to accept permanent hearing damage just because you don't want to be teased then by all means go ahead, I would strongly advise against it but it's your choice at the end of the day. Who are the people who tease you? I was having way more fun at the show with hearing protection than the people without it, everyone around me was sitting still and recording with their phones like zombies. I could care less what those people think of me while I'm at a show for a band I love. On the topic of hearing loss, I listen to 1000+ hours of music per year and I'd like to keep doing so as I get older without having impaired hearing. Shows are very fun but the music quality is never as good as through a nice pair of speakers or headphones at safe listening volumes. Our ears aren't meant to hear things at concert volumes and there are tons of great hearing plugs made for concerts.

Anyone who pokes fun at you for wearing hearing protection is either misinformed or an asshole, and likely both. Seriously, wearing hearing protection makes the concert better, since your eardrums aren't tensed up constantly from the volume. Literally 15 minutes at a "painful" level of sound (~120 dB SPL) causes permanent hearing damage, so wearing earplugs is just about the best thing you can do for yourself at a concert. If you've got the money, grabbing a pair of high-fidelity earplugs from Etymotic Research for ~$15-20 is what I'd recommend, but the foamies they have at the concessions stand at most concert venues (a lot of venues in the US actually give them out for free if you ask) are just fine, so long as you put them in correctly. They should have directions on the packaging, but here's how just in case.

It's available for pre-order on some websites already. Not sure where you're located but Amazon seems to have the best price from what we have seen so far.

Amazon UK has it as well: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hansa-Session-EP-10-Chvrches/dp/B07J368VL3/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1541959590&sr=8-1&keywords=hansa+session+chvrches

The nice thing about Amazon is you can usually just change .com to whatever your local site is in the URL to get the same product on your regional site. I did that to find it on Amazon Canada last night.

Yeah, I also had a bit of trouble finding it, especially at a decent price. I got mine from Amazon, the seller I bought it from isn't there anymore, but I chose them because they were cheapest shipping option for me here in Australia. I've also looked all over the place, like on Discogs, eBay, a lot of random record stores like this one, and plenty more. You just gotta really dig around.

Are you from the USA? If so, I've managed to find Amazon's MP3 version: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N98Y9NZ/ref=dm_rogue_digital. Can't test if it works though since I'm from the UK.

It's weird because Amazon UK lists the MP3 version as an option with the CD, whereas I had to click a link below the options with the US site, which suggests you only get the MP3 version with the purchase of the CD. Not very intuitive I must say

It's up on other sites as well, but these are ones I have ordered from in the past with no problems.
