I can say that you're completely justifed in feeling worried - it's a new thing for you. Communication and discussion are very important in many issues and here they are important too. Talking about your concerns and fears with your bf might help and I do hope you two can discuss it and come to compromise that doesn't dissmiss your worries and puts all blame on you. 3. Men in Bras, Panties and Dresses: The Secret Truths About Transvestites (European Medical Journal)
A medical study results conducted in UK. Could be interesting read and comparing your bf to different ppl that took part in that study and seeing how different crossdressers can be.

Two books by Lacey Leigh. I really like her approach to crossdressing and dealing with society. She also talks about how she made it work for their family.

First two books might be more relevant then other 3 and I do hope they help.
Girlfriends and wifes of crossdressers (they could be named significant others) have a number of support groups and forums. You can google them and read or join.

I'm a crossdresser myself and I can try to answer your questions if you have any. Just rememeber that every person (and crossdresser) is different and my answers could be different from what your bf thinks or feels.

I orders two models from Amazon: model 1 and model 2. I finally got a chance to try them on with earrings today. I was quickly obvious that the spring on model 2 was too strong and would hurt my lobe after a while. On the other hand, model 1 was just perfect and I think I could wear it all day long without a problem.

In both cases, they are staying in place no matter what. In the name of science, I even tried jumping and dancing to see if they would come off and they didn't go anywhere. At the same time, they would definitely come off if you pulled on them directly, which gives me some sense of security compared to regular earrings that are really attached to your ear.

Model 2 has just a tiny ring at the bottom through which to thread the hook. Model 1 has some sort of little cone filled with rubber, very similar to the ones that are typically used on the back of the lobe to lock the earring in place. This means you don't even need these stoppers at all and you might even be able to cut some of the hook to a shorter length.

Esthetically, it is fairly clear that the earring sits somewhat lower than intended. This technique probably doesn't work well with all styles. I think it works better with long dangling earrings. Smaller round-shaped ones that normally cover only the lobe would certainly look weird (I haven't tried). There are some other models where the attachment is placed higher up on the converter instead of at the bottom, which might help. A hairstyle that covers the ear entirely could also work.

For those thinking about getting breast forms I thought I would post some information for you about these. Previously I had "breast form inserts" which are meant to enhance (add a cup size) to current breasts. Since I am a flat chested male they really didn't "enhance" much and were always a little small for my desire. They are size 7 (34DD/36D/38C) and I ordered them off Amazon for $45 from a seller named Envy Body Boutique. (http://amzn.com/B004GP05TQ)

First off, I am very impressed with the quality and feel of these. They have some weight to them and jiggle around nicely. I am very happy with them. Secondly, I am very happy with Envy Body Boutique. I contacted the seller asking if I could get priority shipping since I really wanted them for this coming weekend (make over and photo shoot is scheduled). She was very nice, made sure I had ordered the size that I wanted, and got them shipped out in under 14 hours! I received them in two days. I cannot recommend that seller enough.

TL;DR: New bewbs, they're great, if you're looking to buy some get them from Envy Body Boutique on Amazon.

Canon T2i, which is an awesome camera, but the REAL winner is the f1.4 lens I use with it.

Really wonderful lens, the low light capabilities are amazing. Some of my other posts have pictures, almost all taken with that same lens.

A friend of mine recommended I read her book The Gifts of Imperfection. It didn't have quite as much, I don't know, substance as I would have liked, but it was inspirational and quite good.

Thanks! I haven't advanced too far into makeup yet, so I'm just making sure I get a strong base down before trying to do anything else. My wig was from amazon. It's this one. It's been a decent wig so far. I'm saving up for a higher quality one, but I'd recommend it for a good starter wig.

I recently bought this wig. The quality is pretty amazing given the price (currently $9). It by no means passes for real hair, but IMO it looks as good as the wig I got from wigs-us.com for more than three times the price.

The trade-off for the shockingly low price is that it ships from China and took about three weeks to arrive here in the US. Also, I've been told these break down faster than more expensive ones. Regardless, at $9 a pop I was able to get a couple of different ones to experiment with colors and styles.

I'm not sure of my head measurement but I know it's larger than average. The aforementioned wigs-us wig doesn't fit super well, while the cheapie Amazon wigs actually fit around my scalp a lot better for some reason. I would highly recommend them for experimenting prior to investing in an expensive wig.

It's focused on developing the butt, but it also gives some attention to arms/shoulders... the idea being that if your shoulders and thighs are muscular, it will make your waist smaller in comparison and give you that overall hourglass shape.

Okay, so if I went with these, which say 44C.. I could just go out and buy a 44C bra and put them in and have a C cup? The next size up are these and they say 44G, which I think is too large.

I'm fat and large-framed so I think big breasts would be good for my body shape, but I don't want huuuge gigantic breasts because I don't want to encourage people playing with them... I'm kinda self conscious about people playing with my breasts when I know they're fake. I think a C cup at minimum would be best, maybe D or DD better, but that company doesn't have 44D's.

My family members have C cups. One got DD or DDD's and I think they're too large because she's quite skinny. Maybe D's would look great on me because I am overweight/tall/large-framed.

It's a scary thing picking out breast forms because they're $100+ and probably not returnable. Could be a $100 mistake!

My legs are done with loofah + Soap mixed 50/50 volume with pumice then waxed with an epilator. the soap/pumice scrub exfoliates and removes all dead skin and opens pores. the epilator keeps a razor off my legs. this isn't for everyone, and i dare say it hurts a bit the first month or so, but totally worth it in the long run. besides all this, if you like having your legs clean and shaven, just keep the rest of your body hair to a minimum as much as you have time/opportunity to and shaved legs don't even register to people when you're pretty hairless otherwise. and if by chance someone asks me about my hairless self i just tell them that i think body hair is disgusting and i remove as much as can for cleanliness

I can't speak to their relative quality because I haven't tried other brands but I've used them every day for a year now and they're holding up great!

I recently got these off amazon for around $30 and they're great. You could probably shop around for something similar for cheaper, or downgrade a bit to a pair of "cutlet" style silicone bra inserts, they usually run about $15 - $20 online and you still get a little of the same weight and jiggle and an A-cup or so's worth of boob.

Unless you want to shell out a couple hundred, any breast plate (where it covers your chest) will be highly disappointing.

I would recommend breast forms from amazon. Or if you want higher quality (for possibly not much more) I have these and love them.

I got a $16 Melody Suzie wig on Amazon. Came with wig cap and brush, was a good deal. For just prancing around the house, its great, but I don't think I'd trust it in public.

It also ended up being way shorter (or my head is way bigger, take your pick) than expected. So be aware of that. The quality is decent though, and they have quite a few other styles.
