I've been using a Zowie FK1 for just over a year now. It's pretty simple but it's a damn good mouse because of that. Nice weight and size and the scroll wheel has some resistance to it.
It comes in at fifty quid on the nose too. I usually read reviews and go buy from amazon since other places rarely seem to match the price.
Personally I use two joysticks like these: https://www.amazon.com/Extreme-3D-Pro-Joystick-Windows/dp/B00009OY9U You get so much control. You can get 360 noscopes across the map if you know how to use them!
