I was recommended this one from someone here. Got it last year, works great.

It's that it's 365nm instead of the typical 390nm wavelength. Can see the pretty true colors of uv.

The wavelength of uv light is anywhere from like 400nm to 10nm i believe and it has nothing to do with holograms. Holograms are devices that only reflect light from a certain angle. Hope that answers your question...

Edit: This is the UV flashlight i just bought and it works fine

I use this one. It works pretty well but it's a bit difficult to get consistently good photos using it because it's a little dim on photos.

Also it takes those huge D-Cell batteries so you'll probably need to purchase them aswell. I bought them from Amazon here.

Get a tube over a flashlight, definitely better. Imma look now for the link to the 365 nm one dankboy recommended me

Edit: here it is it's cheap so like if you drop it a bunch or are retarded with it it'll break but it works great

Which one do you use? I use this one and it works pretty damn well for it's price.

We have /u/Profelec improvise with a rotten banana. It's a good time, I'm the reigning champ at anal ring toss.

This is a really good guide, but I'm kinda confused how you get everything evenly lit. Maybe its just that my UV light isn't great, but I don't know how to position it properly to show all the UVs, and when I move the light the area I just illuminated goes away. What should I do to make mine look as bright as yours?

Edit: Also do you just take 1 photo, or is it multiple that are strung together?

I would recommend this one

That's if your looking for something on cheap end.

If I remember correctly, people were using a white sharpie. Use the search bar.

this is true i got a 395 flashlight for checking IDs and it sorta works but doesn't show the UV in pictures. I'd buy this

My Kmart has some pretty sick blacklight lights, although they're not handhelds.

This is a pretty sick online blacklight though

I did my research and found that someone suggested using this http://www.amazon.com/Krylon-Colormaster-Crystal-Clear-Acrylic/dp/B0009X8LZ4?th=1&psc=1

But im still hesitant because I don't really wanna ruin the IDs. I'm only hesitant because it'll take me a while to earn up that much money for another.

Walmart probably has it, Target is more questionable. Don't spend more than $15.

This is the one that u/watchblue uses.
