Oh man, I LOVE random amazon finds! I wore this dress and for once I was not cold at Christmas parties.

This shirt is not great quality, but it's really cute and I'm very happy with the value.

These boots are similar to Hunters and way WAY cheaper. Not fantastic quality but they have lasted me two years of moderate wear with no leaks, so not terrible either.

This sweater which I bought it cream, IS fantastic quality and has been a favorite of mine this winter.

Yes! I am catching the 90s vibes too. I love that aspect of it. Maybe there’s a designer out there making a similar inspired dress that’s not so straight across the neckline. If you like, you could sell yours on Poshmark or consignment and put the cash towards the new one.

I checked out The Curated Closet from the library awhile back and it helped me a great deal. I didn’t even finish reading it before it was due (curse of an over ambitious reader!!) and I still got so much from it.

This bitch is my Vday dress, and it's both super flattering and SO COMFY. It says it's not stretchy. It's stretchy. Not Tshirt stretchy, but definitely enough to be comfortable. And nice big pockets. And not quite (on me) as boobalicious as it looks in the picture, but still attractively boobish.

Be aware the size chart is actual garment measurements, not your measurements. I had to send my first back and size down.

I'm 5'4", hover between 140-150, and I have a couple winners on Amazon:

jumpsuit in size L that works perfectly with flats and heels somehow?

fake leather skirt in size M

nice mid-weight parka in size L. Although please note that this goes to about my knees, not mid-thigh like those pictures show lol

Here's a cute one! example

However - I recommend just finding any cute spring coat that you like (new or thrifting), and spraying it down with Scotchguard. A 'flat' weave works best. The two I did, one is cotton, the other is nylon/poly blend.

Looks like the brand has changed, used to be Lakshmi, but I have this one in a couple colors. It’s pretty casual, but machine washable and breastfeeding friendly.

I'm wearing this Outlander coat from Torrid, paired with this felt cloche/bowler from Amazon (that I've been getting TONS of compliments on), and this Heattech scarf from Uniqlo.

As for gloves, I've got a lovely grey leather and thinulate pair that I got from Nordstrom Rack last year.

Sadly, I probably will go without winter boots again this year despite living in Minnesota, as I have had such a hard time finding a pair of boots that can fit my super-thick/tall custom insoles. I had a pair that fit a few years ago but my mother "borrowed" them and then left them at a school where she was subbing, and I was never able to get them back. I'm seeing my podiatrist in a few weeks though, so hopefully she can give me a recommendation for extra-roomy boots with removable insoles.

As for my fashion changing, I've almost always stuck to pretty muted, classic colors for my winter gear. I did have a bright red-orange minimalist, clean-cut Ann Taylor coat a couple years ago that I loved but sadly I gained weight and can't fit into it any more. Alas! So, it's back to navy and grey this year.

Recently discovered [this] (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T6TSL2U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) super-affordable wireless bra and am completely aghast that it actually does what it's supposed to. It's more comfortable than all my sports bras and it somehow, despite being unlined, manages nipping pretty well. It's pretty miraculous.

I am also a size 16/18, with a size 10 shoe. I do Crossfit three times a week before work, and carry my stuff in a lovely big tote I can sling over my shoulder. My backpack which I carry daily and for work stuff is this guy: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00N2UU5B4/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_apa_i_uK2HDbZM12MX4
The only reason I don't use just the backpack is that I have to carry my laptop every day. If I didn't have to do that, the backpack would be big enough to carry a whole outfit plus shoes. With the laptop I currently carry, it cannot do shoes. It doesn't sound like you carry a laptop so maybe that'll work for you?

Alternately you could look at a seperate shoe bag, which I what I use when I travel for work. Like so :

It can be hooked onto your backpack/suiycase/duffel/ whatever so you're not actively carrying an extra item, but it provides an option to carry your shoes around without giving up that precious bag real estate.

I bought a pair of Vionic Farrah Sandals for my trip to Disney. Best purchase

I have this dress, which is perfect for weddings. All the bows are removable. I tried on two of their other dresses, this one was better for my petite body. I also tried this dress and this dress, but they were too big in the chest. All the dresses have measurements.

I'm still working on it, though right now I'm often wearing a hybrid of comfort shoe and urban street shoe in these Ecco sneakers. But I bought these Trippen booties years ago while traveling and am still getting up the nerve to wear them!

It's not fashion, but maybe the issue isn't necessarily your shoes. Do you have an anti-fatigue mat with your desk? If not, I highly recommend getting one (something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Sky-Comfort-Fatigue-Kitchens-Standing/dp/B00M8O122G/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_229_t_0)

>Alternately, compression leggings are a mainstay in exercise wear for a reason. They might be "skin tight" as OP describes, but they also stay put through the whole workout

Another grand thing about compression tights, capris or shorts, is that they hold your muscles firmly in place. No flapping, no bulges, and the compression will actually help prevent post-exercise soreness by reducing water retention caused by inflammation. I find that after losing a bunch of weight, my loose skin doesn't do a good job of holding my muscles in place - compression tights help so much with that.
