I use a X360 controller (map the C buttons to the right analog stick). If you want to play with an actual N64 controller you will need to buy an adapter.

As far as you laptop goes, what matters most is your video card. I was able to play this on an old dell latitude d810, but that was without the upgraded texture pack.

It runs really well on my gaming rig though.

Here are the minimum requirements.

  • Intel Pentium 3 1.5Ghz or higher or AMD Athlon 1.5 GHz or higher
  • 512MB RAM or more
  • nVidia GeForce FX or later or ATI Radeon 9500 or later
  • 1GB or more free hard drive space
  • Creative Soundblaster Live! or higher
  • Adaptoid and original Nintendo N64 controller for each player
  • Microsoft Windows XP with latest updates.

    Optional extras:

  • video card with TV out and a high quality widescreen television set
  • high quality stereo speakers supporting dolby virtual surround
  • USB hub and/or controller extension cables
  • genuine Nintendo Rumble Pak for each player

    Good Luck!

Sad to say, that's probably on you. You've grown up on too much sugar. Generally speaking, not your (or even your parents') fault if you grew up in the 1960's through 1990's, as the "sugar is poison" research was limited (and pre-internet, not as accessible) and worse than that, the sugar lobby (not to mention government subsidies, at least in the US) is/was SUPER powerful.

But moving forward, it is your fault, and most importantly, don't pass your affinity for sugar habit(s) onto your kids. This is the greatest good you can do IMHO, don't pass it on. Most especially through the biggest traps of them all...soft drinks and fruit juices. That's what we do anyway. Make our kids' sugar intake experiences "worth the downsides" (e.g., via high quality dessert experiences every now and then, not daily crapola stupid sugar intake).

Edit: If you get through the first 2-4 weeks of no sugar, you don't miss it and even begin to detest how sugar infused so many processed foods are. Then you start skipping the middle of the grocery store as junk food (even those products marketed as low sugar, as you say). Then you start to feel better. Then you live a better and hopefully longer life ;-).

Had this same dilemma and just looked up 1/2 inch ice cubes and there it was! Good investment.

Spoiler alert: this is a novel in which this discovery is a pivotal moment, the moment when the main character transforms from a child into an adult: The Mezzanine.

I thought everyone had at least one book or magazine in their bathroom. I bought a few books just for my bathroom. This, this, and this always keep me busy in my porcelain throne. If not, shampoo bottles.

We have a Brondell in the upstairs spare bathroom, A Luxe 185 in the downstairs bathroom, and a Biobidet BB1000 in the master bathroom(it was only $150 on a lightning deal 2 years ago) and both of us prefer the Brondell one. The expensive one has warm water, warm seat and a pulsating stream to free those dingleberries but price isn't worth it, even at $150. Also the Brondell only raises the back of the seat 1/4". The Luxe raises seat height about an inch and the Biobidet raises it about 2 inches which doesn't seem like much but it's enough to feel strange on either of them.

Edit: fixed Luxe 185 link.

I'll buy your copy of Myrhvold's The Art and Science of Cooking, or just borrow it until you can make some bespoke shelving. I'll pay shipping costs.

Barry does.

> Life under the sea can be as dull as dishwater, until Barry arrives, that is. See, Barry is no ordinary fish—he's a fish with fingers! And fingers mean finger puppets, finger painting, knitting, counting to ten, tickling, and all sorts of fun things. It isn't long before all of the other fish want fingers, too. Life under the sea will never be the same again. . . .
