I believe an EQ will only work on a per app basis on iOS, so you need an app that does both GPM and EQ, which is a tall order since Google doesn't do it themselves. I've used Boom on MacOS for years. However, it appears that their iOS app does not support GPM, only Spotify and Tidal. You could request it, but I'm sure they aren't going to devote development time to a service that is known to being at the end of its life.
So as far as I know, there's not a solution for what you need. Sorry. Some headphones have built in EQ, and Im considering that approach myself, next time I buy Bluetooth headphones. Leaning toward Jaybird X4, which happens to have an EQ.
