For OP and those interested there's actually a pretty cool book that has a ton of the Blue Note album covers in it. I don't personally own the book so I can't speak for the quality or anything like that but its on my Xmas wishlist this year!

I did reply to him. The BTI that I have was ordered off of Amazon and arrived this week. It does have the screenplay. As far as I can tell, it is the same as the RSD release. After spinning it, there is a good amount of static noise and pops though.

If I were you I would invest in some inner sleeves since those paper sleeves can scratch your records if you are constantly taking them out and putting them back in.

I have these and they are great in my opinion.

Looks like you can get something like that from Amazon.

[That's it.] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002GYTPAE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

I also use this Amp with these speakers. This setup has been going strong for about 4 years now.

> The one I have is passable but there is some weird thing going on with it where it creates a small amount of static

TLDR pre warning: I'm about to tell you more about static than you probably care to read.

It's winter so static is particularly bad this time of year. What material is the table made of? You could always ground it with a green coated thick copper wire to the center screw on an electrical wall plate if it's metal. Or if it's not metal buy a small PC kit builders mat that is anti static because it's grounded.

I have a nice anti fatigue padded electrostatic discharge floor mat behind my decks that I stand on that I have grounded to my electrical wall plate. It was one of my more expensive upgrades over the years but I stand on a hard basement floor for hours playing records so the padding helps there, and it effectively grounds me so when I grab the record it helps me discharge the vinyl as I handle it. I think I paid 300 bucks for that specialized rug but it to this day it really ties the room together nicely.

Another good thing for killing winter static is an anti static slip mat. They are available on Amazon for about 16 bucks ish, mine are plain white. Sometimes even they carry a charge in the winter and stick to the record as you peel it off the platter.

So I buy a can of plain old Static Guard < $3 and spray a burst to the bottom of the slip mat and that instantly kills the charge on the slip mat.

Then while standing on the anti static floor mat I put the static guard sprayed anti-static slip mat on the platter, the record down on the slip mat and then I use Gruv Glide < ($40 and well worth it!) to kill the static on the record. Gruv glide will make a clean record sound perfect, no static pops, no friction noise, and it removes every tiny piece of dust from the grooves. I don't use a record dust brush, Gruv Glide does better than all of those things.

You know I make fun out of people like me for being all weird and over the top with records and then as I explain this in here I am coming to grips with the fact that I am making fun out of myself. MUST KILL DUST, MUST KILL STATIC!!

But for real though, this stuff does work. It's not snake oil, Gruv Glide in particular is the cleaner and static killer most people don't have but should in the winter when it's really dry. FYI: This is not a paid endorsement for Gruv Glide, I genuinely use and believe in the shit. In fact I literally just bought a can of that spray for a birthday present for a buddy of mine and he swears by it too. One can will last you 10 years, my can is over 10 years old and I use it to this day.

Sorry, that was long.

I would get a polyurethane sleeve. You can get a better deal than this but its just an example.
