1- Longer rear door checkers, especially if you use the rear seat a lot. Helps out a bunch with kids and loading anything large. No idea why Honda decided to put in these midget-sized door checkers... guess they don't want you hitting other people's cars? Anyway, probably the best value added upgrade you could do. They cost like $40 and take all of 30 minutes to install.

2- Along with that, rear seat cover. This OEM one is awesome. Fits perfectly and looks great. Again, I have kids, so stuff like this just makes my life so much easier.

3- I didn't think I'd use it a lot, but might wife also got me this cargo net and I find myself using it quite a bit. Way quicker than dealing with straps and good for smaller/lighter stuff that you don't really want to crank down tight.

4- Trunk dividers are great for keeping stuff from sliding around in your trunk all day. These are kind of pricy for what they are (literally just flat pieces of plastic), but if you can get them on sale or used or something, they're really useful.

I bought this "pet hammock" seat cover from Amazon. Best $20 I've ever spent, fits well in my G1. It should fit just about anything. Keeps the seats clean and protected from claws and keeps the pets from falling onto the floor between the front and back seats.

I installed my dash cam with one of these and a long USB cable through the edge of the dash and up the a pillar. It was actually super easy and tucks away completely by hand. I know this doesn't answer your question but it's working really well for me.

I was in the same boat as you; 2008 Ridgeline RTL, no navigation.

But after looking up a guide and seeing the amount of dismantling required to run wires to the rear of the truck, I decided to get a wireless model instead.

Hardwired camera install: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0kC7rFp4ac

I actually went with this wireless kit off Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07425TPBT/
, the camera and transmitter splice into the rear backup lights. It probably took me about 2 hours to install (I really took my time to cable manage everything), mount and test everything. There was plenty of space to hide everything in the quarter panels.
There are also several youtube videos showing how to install it. I don't have any complaints with the camera or screen.

I don't tow anything, I mainly got it to help me parallel park on busy streets.

Hope this helps, good luck.

I did the LED kit on my 07' interior just a few months ago. When you do all at the same time if really cleans up the look at night and definitely adds more light.

Ever sat in a new truck from the last few years? LEDs galore. It's kinda like that. Really just refreshes the look and feel of the 1st Gen Ridgy.

There are complete kits on Amazon.

I got the North Mountain roll up.

Cheapest one I could find, but it seems to be pretty decent so far.

Just bought these. I like 'em:

Thanks! They are plasti-dipped. Just eyeballed it and ran a strip of masking tape, then peeled off the overspray. It's held up very well. Take it through the carwash all the time. Here's the lights. The led bracket has to be cut shorter and a new hole drilled to mount the light. That puts it in the right spot.

I ordered mine from Amazon.ca https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01N3T00UA/ref=pe_3034960_236394800_TE_3p_dp_1

The installation is a bit tricky so make sure you have confidence in whoever's doing it and I would get them to watch this video first.

Similar to the truxxx® kit
I took mine to a 4X4 offroad specialty shop and it took them 6hrs on a 3.5 hour job. Its been a couple of weeks and no problems or issues at all.
It drives great!

I've been researching tires as well and going to go with Hankook Dynapro AT2 (RF11) 265/60 r18 114T. They are slightly smaller by millimeters compared to other brands of the same size and should prevent the rubbing issue. (I can confirm next weekend). The fuel mileage will change and odometer will be slightly off but not a big deal.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

(Update:) 11/2/19
Just had the Hankooks put on and I'm happy to report that there are NO rubbing issues at all.

Before pics

Wonderwheel

There are more expensive versions of this but for 10$ it did pretty damn good
Just use low rpm (I think it says less than 2000 rpm drill) and don’t stay in the same spot for long. After wards I just brushed off the remnants and wiped away with goo gone and a towel.

I’m not like a mechanically inclined person so if I can do it you can too

You need to get these and replace the OEM plastic ones, they are junk and always break, I did mine in about an hour

There are two places to hook up near the hitch of the Ridgeline and then the other end was wrapped around the other truck’s frame. I used this strap from amazon; Presa 21079 Heavy Duty 10000 lb.... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011ARI3FK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I saw them struggling and the front wheels spinning so I’d assume it’s a 4x4 if the front wheels had power?
