If you want to check out the steel mesh look, which I personally find the most comfortable and stylish, do what I did: just order the Huawei Watch with the standard leather band (which is actually pretty nice to be honest, I swap back to it sometimes) and then order yourself a good aftermarket band. I got this one and I'm absolutely loving it. $23, looks and feels great, easy to adjust with a strong magnet instead of a latch.

The magnetic milanese strap is extremely high quality. It matches the color of the Huawei watch perfectly, and makes the watch look like a million bucks.
The magnet is pretty strong, and is keeping the watch tightly on my wrist no matter how hard I shake or swing my arms.
I like that there is not any branding on the stap, makes it look much cleaner than the Hoco bands.
The mesh is identical to that of the apple watch milanese band, and that is a definite plus. It is in fact the soft mesh, not the tough mesh that comes on the milanese bands with a buckle.
My only Con, and it is by no means enough to even remove half a star, is that the band is a little difficult to apply to the watch. Firstly, the little release sticks that hold the strap to the watch are a little thicker than they need to be, so it takes some force to get them in. After that you must make sure that they are perfectly centered in the strap, if not it will appear that the strap is too wide for the watch...it is not. If centered perfectly, the part of the strap that connects to the top of the watch is easy, connecting the second one is tricker, however if you position your fingers in just the right spot to pull back the release bar until you can get the pins in the holes, you are golden.

This is has to be the best band I have. Feels great to ware, looks great as well. Matches the watch perfectly.

Review: The leather band is a very nice watch strap for the watch, but it does feel a little bit cheap. I am not sure because it's super stiff right now or that's just how it's made.

The steel band is very well made with the butterfly clip and looks great with anything.

I got the band from here. It was pretty expensive but the color and feel of it are amazing and the stitchings look great. Be aware, it does not come with springs so pick up some 18mm ones.

Amazing quality! And it's a Prime product so you can get it with free two day shipping if you are a member. No branding on the magnet clasp so it looks much cleaner. You can also check out my review. Everyone else seems to be trying to get free product from these guys.

I prefer the steel band which is why I'm so happy this is on sale. Waiting for a sale and Friday is my birthday. So I got it.

OK, I have this charger, and it definitely supports adb. (Edit: Looks like the same one /u/HomelessDrifter linked)

I was able to list the device with adb devices and open a shell with adb shell.

FYI you have to freshly authorize the adb connection every time you plug/unplug the watch, which I don't remember having to do when I've used adb before. But I don't use adb very often so maybe I'm wrong.

And I could ONLY see the prompt on the watch asking me to authorize the adb connection if I was already in the "developer options" section of the settings, FWIW.

I like diver watches, hehe. This band is a replacement for the Luminox 3000 series dive watches. It's 22mm in size so it doesn't fit our watches. Have no fear. Since this band is polyurethane, it can be easily modified. I used a x-acto to notch out 2mm on both sides. If using a silver Hwatch, highly recommend this one, matched the shine and color really well.

Clasp open style took a bit getting used to, but prefer it more now for easier removal.

There's nothing official. I got a 3d printed one and it's perfect. It's actually easier to line up the charging pins on it than if it's flat on a table

Cape Cod Metal Polishing Cloths, I've had luck with them for minor scratches, any deep scratches would probably need to be taken to a professional. Also the cloths only work on the glossy portions of the watch, the brushed/satin portions such as the sides of the watch cannot be polished off with the cloth otherwise you'll rub off the finish, again a professional should be able to polish and resurface such areas.

Not sure if professionals work on smartwatches though as I've never tried asking, and it might cost more than it's worth considering the diminishing value of old smartwatches. ($100 - $200 for a professional's service on the upper end, and around $50 for minor jobs)

Yea, I've been looking for a good leather band as well, the black one with white stitching that came with mine is not exactly want I like, and I didn't like the metal one.

The band is a 20mm band with notches cut in the top to bring it down to 18mm which is what the watch takes. so an 18mm band will fit fine on it, but I would prefer a 20mm/18mm.

I have been looking for a Horween stone leather band similar to the one on my Moto360, or at least for Huawei to release their other bands for sale.

Was also considering posting on /r/LeatherClassifieds to see if anyone there makes watch bands.

I'm assuming you mean off the metal casing and not the screen. I use these and they work great on removing fine scratches from the body of the watch.

I have an aftermarket metal band, so I'm not sure how the one from Huawei latches (I'm guessing it stays in one connected piece though), so you're probably having a tough time getting it to mount the charger while balancing on the band?

I haven't cut holes in the back of the straps to get to the release mechanism yet, but I can open and close it by pushing a very small flat blade screwdriver in between the folds of the band.

To be honest the wrist is just a terrible place to measure in general when you're moving your arms around a lot. I use the HW1 for passive reading and then a Scosche Rhythm+ between my bicep and shoulder for actual exercise. Or you could go the chest strap route.

I bought a refurbished hwatch from newegg a little over a month ago, but it came with the leather strap which I'm not a huge fan of. I ordered this link band from Amazon and it's been wonderful. I saw a few reviews saying it pulls your arm hair which concerned me initially, but I have fairly hairy arms and it hasn't been a problem at all in the month I've worn it. Of course YMMV but I have absolutely no complaints.

I also bought one of that same seller's silicone bands for use at the gym. Both bands get my seal of approval FWIW.
