So you assume they are unreasonable and can't be changed and have their mind opened, just like they have certain assumptions about you? Sounds like both sides have some pretty strong biases and boxes they have put the other side in. But yeah, if that's your perception then I guess violence is the only answer for you.

But it honestly just sounds like you're just as much in need of a person to talk to and reason with as the racist guy in this video.

People can absolutely change, and be reasoned with, but yes, it does take more effort than throwing a punch does. I hope you can open yourself up to that possibility some day. If you're interested, below are a few suggestions of stuff to read/listen to by people who have been pulled back from, or pulled others back from, that kind of bias and racism.

Bomber crews had it especially bad in WWII. If they survived getting shot down and were able to bail out and get a good parachute, then they had to survive the descent without getting shot by German fighters. If they got on the ground alive, then they had to hope to not be captured by the German population who would regularly beat and/or execute them for bombing their country. If they were lucky they were captured by the army and sent to a prison camp (which were not pretty towards the end of the war, by the way).

The really amazing thing is that some chaplains would volunteer to go on bombing missions and intentionally bail out over enemy lines so they could be captured and get sent to the prison camps to be with the POWs. A truly selfless thing to do.

If you're interested in learning more there are plenty of books on Amazon written by B-17 crews over Europe. There's The Wrong Stuff which is an easy read and on Kindle, and also Masters of the Air which is more like an authoritative text book and a fascinating read (also on Kindle).

Here's a link to the book. I got the title slightly wrong, but man, it brought back a lot of emotions and memories seeing this old cover for the first time in decades. I recall it being an excellent read, and maybe even if you don't ride a bike or motorcycle. Let me know what you think if you do read it! Staying alive on your mototrcycle

This was a Barbie head specifically for that, so I started wailing. Mom came in, and I told her from the commercial i thought it would grow back 😂

Edit: It was like this one, except this was the 2000s so looked different.

Not until you said this did I ever hear of aloe germ-x and I'm not a fan. I'm not arguing with you that it's odd placement, I just wanted to say that it looks like this to me. Thanks for exposing me to the nightmare that is aloe germ-x lol

They do exist, I have some. It has mics on the outside that amplify regular noise to speakers on the inside and doesn't amplify noise above a certain dB level.

FREDI 1080P WiFi Pet Camera Wireless Home Security IP Cameras, Nanny Cam with Motion Detection Night Vision,2-Way Audio,Pan/Tilt/Zoom,Supports 2.4G Wi-Fi for Home Surveillance Pet/Elder/Baby Monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HXVGGDL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_xO7CDb2Q1EMHT

It does the job for cheap! The down side is the app has to be open to hear/see anything going on so that’s a slight con as a baby monitor, but I can hear my kid fuss through the door so I just check the camera which is no big deal.

It also has night vision which is why I purchased it

People like you enable horrors. I'd recommend reading about how badly your attitude can go.

Both are very specific examples which are hard to objectively prove, and which even if I did find sources for I am sure somebody could find a contradictory source for. However, given a fruit fly has only about 250k neurons it would be nothing short of miraculous if they are able to perform all of their necessary functions and feel emotion. Anecdotally I have seen chickens show no compassion for other chickens at all - they peck at the weakened until they die and keep pecking. Anybody who has kept chickens will have observed the same.

Regardless of these specific examples my core point stands. Animal welfare policies and discussion are heavily based around sentience, which is a product of intelligence. People have written entire books on this if you feel like reading about it.

See the book "Biological Exuberance" for dozens of examples of long-term same-sex relationships in the animal kingdom. The name of the book is the code phrase used by researchers to mean "gay" back in the dark times when being gay was considered a mental illness.

Well this isn't the first one that they got wrong. I've witnessed this (my dim cousin was the pisser) . you can take my word for it or you can disprove me.

You'd be a fool not to film this. ;)

If you've used any of these types of coals when smoking hookah, you're doing it horribly wrong. You want to use coconut style charcoal and preferably a heat management device. I'm sure your drunken night didn't help with the experience at all.
