I have the Belkin BOOST UP.

I like it. Works well as my bedside charger. It's a wireless fast charger that definitely works. The LED light is small and not-too bright, but you can easily position your phone to cover it, nonetheless, without worrying that your phone's not getting charged.

There's a circular traction ring that keeps the phone stable even when you're getting phone calls or other notifications.

I also have this Samsung Wireless Fast Charge Stand.

I used it at work because it's sleek and functions well since I have an iPhone X. I always charge overnight, so I haven't needed to use it too often, but it works well nonetheless.

It's not certified to fast charge Apple's iPhone devices, so you'll notice that it's definitely slower than wired charging, and it's also slower than the Belkin.

Holds onto the phone well.

Samsung makes a Convertible version.

Pretty much same information applies as what I wrote above. Samsung currently doesn't have any wireless fast chargers that are certified to fast charge Apple's devices.

I recently bought the RAVPower HyperAir Wireless Fast Charge Stand.

It's a fast charging stand that I've replaced my Samsung stand with at my desk.

Nice, sleek design. I haven't been able to run tests against the Belkin yet, but they're fairly comparable. It's definitely faster than the Samsung stand, though.

I'm thinking about buying the Apple-certified Mophie Wireless Fast Charge Pad for my living room.

I've heard good things about it.

Anker recently released an Apple-certified fast charge pad and fast charge stand.

I've only read impressions from a MacRumors contributor, but he or she was fairly impressed.

There are plenty of chargers that are cheaper, but I'm interested in quality and wireless fast charging.

And I'm only going to trust the Apple-certified brands for wireless fast charging.

UPDATE: I bought the Mophie Charge Stream Pad+, which allows charging up to 10W. The iPhone X and XS devices will still only charge at 7.5W, but the XS devices will charge more efficiently, so they should be faster.

I would spring for the 10W version because it'll be helpful for friends with Android devices. Also, it makes it a little more future proof should apple allow the XS phones to charge at 10W with a future software update or allow next year's iPhone devices to charge at that wattage.

Ive had my X for about a month, switching over from the Galaxy S8 so heres my experience

> What kind of case should I get for the X

I have a tempered glass screen protector for the screen and a really chunky bumper case with a clear plastic back (https://www.amazon.co.uk/iPhone-Spigen%C2%AE-Cushion-Technology-Protection/dp/B074CMHQW5/ref=sr_1_6?s=telephone&ie=UTF8&qid=1524581014&sr=1-6&keywords=iphone+x+case) so you can still see the lovely apple logo. I use this as it is grippy, adds a bit of heft to the phone and also the camera cutout is protruded so the lens never touches the surface when i put the phone down. Also, a bit of a placebo but it does give me a bit of drop confidence as the rubber bumper is quite thick and reinforced. If you play alot of games the extra size makes it comfortable to hold for long periods although that same heft might be a downside for gym use. Its great for taking pics as the lens has a low chance of ever being damaged or scratched.

> Would I be a fool to start my iPhone X life with it being a blank slate instead of having the Apple techs clone my current phone setup onto it today?

Im a nerd and always start from scratch on all phones I get cos i enjoy the experience but if you 're in the Apple eco system I guess it would only benefit you by transferring your stuff across?

> do magnets do any damage to the IPhone X

I have a magnet mount in my car and have not had any issues as of yet

> Is there anything I can now do better or differently with my iMac by having the X

I dont have a Mac but I don think theres anything in addition to the X that can be done that other iPhones cant do. The extra spec bump in video recording is great, depends on how seriously you want to get into it if you want to consider getting better equipment.

> is my dumpy series 0 watch going to be a. Detriment to the glory that is the X

I dont have an Apple Watch but really want to get one so this would also be good for me to know lol

> And finally——— any X owners feel like suggesting a game or a two or an app that is just a beast on the X

I dont game much on the X as of yet but when I had an iPhone 6, I purchased Star Wars Knights of the Old republic and played it like ass.
I also bought the game again on the Galaxy S8 and although alot smoother, it still crashed alot. However, on the X it is just a dream. Plays beautifully!

Also, one thing I would recommend is getting a 12w iPad charger for the X, charges much faster compared to in the box charger and it does not require you to get an expensive USB C to lightning cable, you can just use the regular lightning cable.

I've got a tech 21 case, and a spigen clear case but I absolutely love this one above. Feels great, it's super thin, lays flat on a table and has the slightest lip over the screen. Perfect for someone who doesn't want a big bulcky case but feels like they're going to drop or break they're phone without one.

u/JimmithyWeav · 2 pointsr/iphone

I bought this Spigen case and I love it! Thin, light, and nice protection. I dropped my phone back flat on concrete and it made the loudest slap noise. Phone was fine! I was 100% sure the back glass cracked but it’s still good!

Edit* I also bought this case as well. I had this similar case for my iPhone 5s at the time. I loved that case which is why I want for it on my iPhone X as well!

u/jlee14 · 2 pointsr/iphone

I'm going to go right ahead and agree with this guy, you can go the Bluetooth route.

BAM!

GOgroove FlexSMART X2 Wireless In-Car Bluetooth FM Transmitter with... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003PPGOC0/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_YRB5tb0DT11TC

Had this for a few years and it works perfectly. It's worth if you really want to play your favorite songs in the car for sure. It also has the added bonus of hands free calls, but it's mediocre at best it works but it could be better.

u/tekdemon · 0 pointsr/iphone

Throw out your car and buy a new car, why ask such silly questions!

In all seriousness though there are very good quality Bluetooth adapters for your car you can get that'll also let you answer phone calls while driving without touching your phone and they start around $20 for the decent ones. If you just want one that'll play music without also having a microphone for calls they're even cheaper but the quality of the streaming features is noticeably worse in my experience.

I use this one myself since it supports aptx: https://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTC450-Bluetooth-Hands-Free-Input/dp/B009NLTW60/ I bought it on sale when it was like $25 IIRC and it's worked great for a couple years now. Looking on Amazon I see models with mics for as cheap as $10.99 so even if you're hard up for cash it's probably cheaper than the apple dongle

Theoretically a model that supports on device AAC decode would be the best for an iPhone if you're using Apple Music but I haven't found such an adapter for a car.

u/ctrl_alt_del_ · 1 pointr/iphone

Please check out the Spigen Tough Armor - adds some thickness but great protection and IMHO looks great. AMAZON LINK - I've had a lot of cases for my 5/5s including Otter, Otter Armor, Lifeproof, thin cases, jellies and none are as good or better designed. And they are pretty affordable.

u/Kopyyy · 3 pointsr/iphone

I got an Aukey USB-C wall adapter and a lightning to USB-C cable on Amazon. Everything total cost around $30. Totally worth it.

Edit:
This was the cable that I bought. Long, braided, very nice. Gets the job done:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077FM5BZ2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And this was the wall charger that I bought. I got it for $20, but it looks like the price has gone up a little bit. This is the fast charger and together with the above cable, you get that sweet sweet quick charge for your new iPhone:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y427WT7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hope this helps :)

I like the idea of the space age gel, but honestly found it added too much bulk to the case to both add the rubber exterior, and fit the gel inside of it, for my liking.

I prefer the Speck Candyshell Grip

It has a raise lip, only on the corners, where you'd need it, it's a soft rubber interior with a hard outer shell (They were the first to do a "2-piece" style case as 1 piece), and charger and headphone jack openings are wide enough that I've never had trouble getting anything plugged in.

I can also tell you this subreddits favorite case is The Spiggen Tough Armor

I can also tell you that you're about to get a million other recommendations, and the best thing you can do is go to a retail store and try each one on.

u/_f0xx · 2 pointsr/iphone

Invest in a quality screen protector with a lifetime warranty. My personal preference is the ZAGG GLASS InvisibleShield.

Another good investment would be a good case, I like supporting Diztronic because they're an American company and very well known in the Android world. The owner is super in touch with his customers. Both the regular and "Voyeur" options are good. I own both. The "Voyeur" offers a little more drop protection.

As for apps. You'll find everything you used in Android you have on iOS. When it comes to Reddit apps. I prefer using AlienBlue.

u/read-plz · 2 pointsr/iphone

Anker is a highly reputable brand and sells a well priced qi charger for around 20 USD. Would check it out on amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Wireless-Charger-Charging-Devices/dp/B00Y839YMU

I didn’t get the faster wireless charger because it also requires a more powerful charge adaptor which brings total cost to around 50 USD.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01KJL4XNY/ref=psdcmw_12557639011_t1_B00Y839YMU

It also isn’t confirmed at this point in time whether Apple will support fast charge for 3rd party chargers, so it’s a bit of a gamble right now as to whether you’ll be able to take advantage of the faster charge rate. Even then it’s not much faster compared to the first wireless charger if you can hook it up to an iPad charge adaptor.

Yep- wireless chargers definitely charge slower than cable, even if you buy the iPhone wireless charger may.

It depends on the controller the wireless charger has. I’ve had my anker charger for the past 2 weeks and been very happy with it. They have good technology to manage battery charge once it’s full, so wouldn’t worry about it affecting battery. Can’t speak to the other chargers though.

All in all, I use the wireless charger at work, it charges slower but the lack of cable makes it easier to pick up and use when needed, and is good for a top up during the day. However, I use the cable at night to charge because it’s quicker and I’m not moving around as much as I am in the office.

u/Ballaz408 · 1 pointr/iphone

I've been thinking about that as well but I just know one drop without a case even with tempered glass on the front and back would just break my heart hahaha. I've been eyeing the Spigen case since it has a clear back so you can at least see the back as well.

Spigen has great cases and it's sold on Amazon. Highly recommend them. Their armor case is great and offers amazing protection from drops

u/Byreenie · 2 pointsr/iphone

Glass feels amazing! It feels like the actual glass of the phone. It never bubbles and the sides never peel up. It doesn't have that gross plastic feel to it that is somewhat grippy and sticky. It won't yellow after being used for long periods of time. This is the one I use on my 6 Plus and I love it. There's a warranty too. So if you ever drop it and it cracks, just order a replacement. It's pretty easy to apply to the phone.

u/bryansm1208 · 0 pointsr/iphone

Link to the cheap glass protector?

i'm less then unimpressed with the current crop of glass proctectors as they all seem to not go out to the case/edge of the glass. I get that its curved but for $30+ they should be putting some R&D into it to make it a pleasant feeling interface.

u/Francobello · 1 pointr/iphone

I use this. Spigen's No-Slip case.

I cannot provide a picture of my device in the case right now, but here's some pictures of the back and the front left side.

I like it. The back has a nice grippy matte feel to it, and I like that the bottoms ports are open, so it's easy to remove and clean. Adds almost no width or extra weight, either.

Really not bad for $10.

I got the Diztronic case in matte black for my gold XS. I’ve owned diztronic cases for the iPhone 6, 6s, and 7. I’ve owned a couple of other cases but I somehow always go back to this brand. The matte blue used to look amazing with the phones with white faces, but this is the first time I’m opting for the matte black. Hoping the gold shows through the camera cutout.

I recommend Spigen, I just got the Neo Hybrid for my 6+ and it's great! Nice and grippy, great clearance for screen when screen faced down on surface and doesn't add to much weight to it. They do them in a variety of colours and sizes. I got the Gun Metal Grey one.

I was in your same shoes about a year ago. The market for these devices has evolved considerably since then.

I personally own and use this one from Belkin:
Belkin Hands-Free Bluetooth Car Kit for Apple iPod, Apple iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android Smartphones, US Version

Like I said, I purchased that a year ago tho.

Recently I purchased this one for a friend:
Kinivo BTC450 Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit for Cars with Aux Input Jack (3.5 mm) - supports aptX

Its a little nicer in that it has navigation controls on top. The Belkin one requires multiple taps of a button for navigation and I have found it is hit or miss.

Here is one that is a little more discrete but doesn't have the USB port the others do that allow you to charge your phone:
Griffin Technology BlueTrip AUX for iPhone and Smartphones

Hope this helps!

u/iamafriscogiant · 4 pointsr/iphone

I recommend this one because it extends a good amount past the screen preventing a screen shatter on a face down drop. It feels good in the hand, doesn't hold fingerprints, and doesn't add too much bulk. Not many color choices though. $10 Amazon Prime.

I bought this one and really like it. It was also the easiest screen protector I’ve ever had to put on. It comes with a frame that fits around your phone that allows you to easily perfectly align the protector. Also didn’t have any bubbles or anything.

Another Spigen Slim Fit iPhone 6 here:

Fits perfect. Some weird reviews in there but it is perfect for me. Not a protective case, more of a scratch and bump protector but that's what I like, maximum pocket-ability.

u/ssrij · 0 pointsr/iphone

MFi =/= "proprietary wireless charging". It's a certification program. Go read about it. It has absolutely nothing to do with Qi.

Anyway, here's the sources:

https://9to5mac.com/2017/10/12/whats-the-best-qi-wireless-charger-for-iphone-8-and-iphone-x/
> The issue, however, may have to do with secure encryption. We’ve heard through unofficial channels that only supported partners (in this case Belkin and Mophie) will support the faster 7.5W charging.

https://www.amazon.com/CHOETECH-Certified-Wireless-Anti-Slip-Qi-Enabled/dp/B00C40OG22
> We get notice from Apple engineer that current IOS only support 5w qi wireless charging currently, 7.5w wireless charging is encrypted and never released to 3rd party manufacturer.

EDIT: Downvoting will not change the facts.

u/Aldarro · 2 pointsr/iphone

There's a little distortion at the edges, I think due to the rounded edges. But the protector does slightly extend beyond the edges of the display, so it doesn't obstruct the image.

I'm not sure of the exact thickness, but they're slightly thicker than the Belkin ones. I'd say that's definitely a good thing because the Belkin TrueClear Pro Ultra (Corning version) is too thin, to the extent that it cracks easily with small impacts.

u/goonersaurus_rex · 1 pointr/iphone

ummm...I dont know? haha. I just generally buy cheap ones through amazon - my only screen is an anti-fingerprint coating (which doesnt last forever but w/e).

Literally the determining factor on this one was the fact that the pack included a guide to help get the placement correct (first time I have seen that).

FWIW this is what I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073DLZWX7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I don't put too much thought into the protector. Mainly there to prevent light scratches - I dont expect it to save my phone from certain death. So with that in mind, the cheapo ones tend to do a great job. If it gets busted, no brainer to just slap a new one on.

u/ryancarty · 1 pointr/iphone

I buy everything related to charging from Anker. Best portable chargers, wall chargers, cables etc. in my opinion.

Haven’t use their wireless charge pad but they make great stuff. Says it’s Amazon’s Choice. Only complaint seems to be you can’t jus throw it on but you learn where the sweet spot is.

For those interested, these tempered glass protectors are amazing.

Used them on my 6S Plus, 7 Plus, my whole family uses them now. Got a couple friends too.

Reason being is it's super thin, extremely grippy and easy on/off. Quality is 10/10.

Here ya go!
Wireless Charger, Clear Spigen Case, Spigen Car Mount Case, Peel Case, Glass Screen Protector, Apple Watch Stand, Airpods Stand.
I realize that the magnetic Spigen case won't work with wireless charging, but it's specifically going to be used as a car mount case for long drives/trips etc. These are Canadian links to Amazon, unfortunately.. but I'm sure that they should be easy to find elsewhere.

Just bought this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C40OG22/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_W0peAbDYFG3AD

As a third attempt and love it. Super grippy pads on the bottom so it doesn’t skid around and the top is textured enough that the phone doesn’t move either (and just big enough that you don’t have to focus on placing the phone “just right” to charge)

u/wipny · 2 pointsr/iphone

I have and can recommend this case. It's durable, has a good grippy texture on the sides, and covers the bottom of the phone.

I also have and can recommend this glass screen protector.

It's a full edge to edge glass screen protector that covers the notch. The kit it comes with makes it simple to install. Besides the very slightly misaligned ear piece, I honestly can't tell I'm using a screen protector.

u/FuneralGoose37 · 1 pointr/iphone

My favorite case is the Diztronic Slim Fit TPU case. I don't like bulky cases so it suits my needs perfectly. I also use a tempered glass screen protector so I don't have to worry about using the slim case.

u/Friarchuck · 1 pointr/iphone

I have an iPhone XS regular size.

To charge I have an Anker wireless charging mat that sits on my bedside table. Its connected to an Anker 39 watt brick with 2 usb slots. My watch charger is plugged into the other slot. I'm not sure if the charging mat is capable of fast charging, but it doesn't really matter because I put my phone on the mat at night and when I leave to workout (s3 cellular watch, thing is awesome) so I never really get to a point where I'm hurting for battery.

In the car I use this Kenu wireless charger. I kinda splurged a bit on the car one, but whatever. In the past I would have it sit on my leg and it would sometimes fall off and generally be a pain in the ass, so the fact that it holds it up is great. Benefit of upgrading from a touchid phone to a face id phone with this kind of setup is that you just have to tap the screen and it wakes up and a glance unlocks for any notifications.

I'm doing my best to embrace this wireless future. If I gotta spend a little extra to get there, that's cool with me.

You need an apple USB C to lightning cable and a power brick that supports USB-C PD to get true fast charging on an iphone.

Here's an anker product that supports the iphone https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y427WT7/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=sl1&tag=vergeopt-20&linkId=3624200607574092b1d7adee5bef98bd&language=en_US

What you linked is better than the brick that came with your phone at least. You could also use an ipad charger if you have one.

Sorry I was busy for a day and did not get the chance to reply. Here is a link directly from Spigen store on Amazon. I trust Amazon most since people sometimes disguise themselves on Ebay as the store.

Spigen Thin Fit Designed for Apple iPhone 8 Plus Case (2017) / Designed for iPhone 7 Plus Case (2016) - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GIWF4EK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_nSz0Db3QHP1H4

But in the instance that you do have to buy from Ebay, I suggest this link:

That is a link to the Spigen store. I made sure by contacting them a few months back thru the Spigen help center

Spigen. They have some great cases. Durable and definitely protect your phone. This case is my go to.

Spigen Liquid Armor

-slightly raised in the front, providing screen protection when phone is faced down

-slightly raised in the back, providing camera protection when phone is faced up

-very precise cutouts; volume and power buttons still maintain great click and feel

-back has great grip

I got the Spigen Air Cushion Case. Clear hard plastic on the back a rubber bumper case". Looks nice, is clear, and shows off the phone.

Looks like the raised the price from $6.98 to $11.99 too.

I currently use the Tethys glass screen protector for my 11 Pro Max. It basically overs the whole front, even the notch, and it fits well with my case. Face ID works normally and gestures work fine. I sometimes don’t notice it’s even there. Comes with a pack of three for a pretty good price.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NGMVD8W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I got this and I was more than impressed. Heavy duty, and they have detailed instructions on how to install it.

No bubbles, what so ever. Just be careful obviously not to touch the adhesive. I thought I had, but it went away within hours. It's been about 3 days and still looking great.

That actually sounds great to me, do you think this one would work? I couldn’t find mryes on there, is it a better brand?

u/Spaceman_Spif · 5 pointsr/iphone

I have this Spigen case and absolutely love it. It has just the right amount of non-slip resistance to be comfortable in the hand but doesn't interfere with putting it in a tight pocket. Also ridiculously thin but feels strong.

I have this combo on my phone, it looks great and feels sturdy. You can get both for about $30. Which is cheaper than a first party apple iPhone case.

u/amnesiacrobat · 4 pointsr/iphone

Just an FYI: you can use any usb-c charger that supports the PD 30w format, but apparently only the Apple usbc to lightning cable will support fast charge (I bought this Anker charger) and another cable and didn’t get fast charge until I got the Apple cable). Also, if you can wait I found an Apple cable on Amazon for about half price ($15).

I'm currently using this Spigen case, and it works great for me. It's very slim and offers minimal protection from falls, but adds very little bulk as well. The case itself is hard plastic with a soft touch/rubbery coating. It makes gripping the phone much easier.

u/jooxii · 16 pointsr/iphone

$50 is more than enough for a wireless charger; it shouldn't cost that much.

I like this one. It's from Anker so it's quality, and it is wireless fast charge capable. When Apple updates the X to support fast charging, you are covered:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KJL4XNY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

There is also a cheaper version without the fast charging:

I recommend getting this setup and if you want a wireless charger for next to your bed or something I would pickup a cheap wireless charger off amazon. I have this one from anker it’s only 20$

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0753Z4PGC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_osJ7Bb5F20C7B

overall though I find having a fast charger is 10x more helpful than having a wireless charger

u/Jawnathin · 2 pointsr/iphone

I bought the Samsung convertible. I liked how it can fold from flat to upright based on where I put it. It comes with the power adapter to support high speed wireless charging (7.5W). I also like how it is USB-C and wasn’t over the top with lights. I wished the light turned off but I put a piece of electrical tape to cover the light since I didn’t want it to bother me when I am sleeping. This one also has a fan.

It is a little more expensive than the cheap ones but was worth it to me.

u/sofaraway731 · 1 pointr/iphone

I've been using this guy for about 5 years. You can connect the phoen to it via bluetooth, and then output to the stereo via AUX or via FM Radio transmission. Or if your car has bluetooth or FM Radio, but your phone only has a 3.5, you can connect the phone to it that way as well. And it has a nice USB port for charging.

So there's options.

u/JesusFartedToo · 2 pointsr/iphone

u/waywardmuffin · 1 pointr/iphone

Random thing: When I turn on the flashlight, the case lights up around the sides. It turned out to be pretty useful in the dark.

u/dawo5010 · 2 pointsr/iphone

I'm not sure about the exactly voltage/amperage the iPhone XS Max fast charges at (will do a test when I get my Apple USB-C to lightning cable and post pictures), but in essence you'll need a PD-compatible charger of at least 29W (which have USB-C outputs) like this one and the official Apple USB-C to Lightning Cable. There are some third-party fast-charge cables, but reviews about them seem mixed and they seem to get disabled every so often with iOS updates.

You shouldn't really have to think too much about voltage/ampere/wattage ratings on the chargers, for as long as they're PD certified, they will support the necessary output voltages.

I have this and it works wonders in my car, even on long drives. It supports Bluetooth and an aux cable, and the sound quality is fantastic. If you're using Bluetooth you can also answer calls, dictate texts with Siri, etc. Way cheaper than getting a new head unit, especially if you have trouble finding one that will fit in your car.

u/Siege_2 · 1 pointr/iphone

I snagged myself this adapter on amazon based on the recommendation here earlier this week, and I’ll have to grab an Apple USB C to Lightning cable. From everything I’ve read, the different isn’t too great and the fast charging turns itself off at 80% anyways.

u/HeartwarmingWarfare · 4 pointsr/iphone

Got this one with great reviews. I checked the reviews on fakespot and it says the reviews are 90% genuine. https://www.amazon.com/Protector-Maxboost-Tempered-Protectors-Accurate/dp/B073DLZWX7

I messed up the first one, but then I with the second figured out how to do it and get it to look perfect. No bubbles and a 99% perfect fit. Still have one extra since it’s a 3 pack.

I prefer to have a cutout for the camera area and I’ve been using iPhones and screen protectors since the iPhone 4S. I’ve never had any damage to the camera area. That way there aren’t any light reflections or etc messing with the light sensor, Face ID, and the selfie camera.

I would avoid this one because the cut out for the notch is wrong. https://www.amazon.com/iPhone-Protector-amFilm-Tempered-Installation/dp/B074ZNLM9J

I know some pretty clumsy people who drop their phones often and have pretty fucked up screens. They still say "I just don't like the way screen protectors feel" while scrolling their finger across jagged sharp glass. I don't think everyone needs a screen protector, but some absolutely do.

Beforehand, I only went with an Otterbox Statement case which had a raised enough lip to not worry about screen cracks from dropping. I only recently started using screen protectors because I use a wallet case now and would rather not my cards scratch up my screen. The screen protector I use, you can't really tell it's on though (no notch cutout, and outer part of the protector is black), and feels much better than previous screen protectors I used on older phones.

Best screen protector and warranty I have ever come across. Other companies I have experimented with don't even come close. I personally go with the matte screen because I like the anti-glare function
http://www.amazon.com/Tech-Armor-Anti-Glare-Anti-Fingerprint-Protectors/dp/B00MFHR25C/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1416162795&sr=1-1&keywords=tech+armor+iphone+6+matte
____
As for case, I like something minimal with full-body coverage. I personally use this one but my only gripe is that the raised edges on the front of the screen are a bit too raised for my taste and affect swiping functionality. For example, if you're using AlienBlue and want to swipe to return to a thread, sometimes it doesn't register cause the raised edges block the edge of the phone. I like the curved screen of the iPhone 6 and this kind of eliminates feeling the curviness.

I'm thinking about getting this one cause I saw it in person and it looked very nice, but that price tag :(

Hopefully it is.

In order to fast charge your iPhone properly, you'll need a USB-C power adapter with power delivery:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y427WT7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_xds5BbPP28G73

It's also necessary to get a lighting to USB-C cable (preferably an official Apple cable):

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DGYJBQA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_-hs5BbFA5KK79

However If you don't want to spend the money for an Apple cable, make sure you get a cable from a reputable brand.

I ordered this one off Amazon Prime and got it yesterday. Can't wait!

I don't use an armband, (the 6+ would make my arms look small) lol Instead I have a tight fitted cycling jersey, which has a zippered on the side, my 6+ is in it's regular case, so I don't have to do any case/ armband switching.

I got a similar one myself

it's a bit thicker than i would have liked but looks decent overall.

As long as you buy a Qi charger or wireless charger that has higher watt outputs yes. Most of those wireless chargers don’t go higher than 7.5W. I found this one
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KJL4XNY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_UJk-BbP768BW

Which says it’s 10W but I haven’t seen any wireless chargers that are higher than that.

Absolutely NOT....WAY, WAAAAY overpriced.

Get 2-3 of these:

I'm using them with my X and they work just fine.

I’ve used cheap and expensive protectors and I haven’t noticed any differences. I’m currently using a Maxboost protector that’s been on my XS since last November and it works flawlessly.

I purchased a spigen from Amazon for $10. It's a shell case with little to no protection other than scratch resistance but I don't drop my phone so that's all I need. https://www.amazon.com/iPhone-Spigen-Exact-Fit-Premium-Finish/dp/B01GIWF4EK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1474477092&sr=8-3&keywords=spigen+case+Iphone+7+plus

I've been using the Diztronic TPU Case since the 6 came out. It's plain and simple if you like cases like that. I'm not sure how much of a drop protection it would offer since it is slim but I did drop it once on carpet and it is fine.

This one is great. Pairs over bluetooth so you don't even have to plug in (but you still can) and it's powerful enough to even drown out weak stations.

u/Djs3634 · 1 pointr/iphone

The device doesn't auto connect when you start your car.. Huge fail for me. This is what I've got.

Not sure if you still need it, but I got this as a gift recently: http://www.amazon.com/FlexSMART-Transmitter-Hands-Free-Blackberry-Smartphones/dp/B003PPGOC0/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1331852389&sr=1-1

It doesn't have a mount, but it has bluetooth, FM transmitter, and a charger. I was going to return it, but could sell it to you for $40 if you want.

u/trusk89 · 18 pointsr/iphone

That doesn't look tough at all. This is a tough case.

Or you could get a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into your Aux port. https://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTC450-Bluetooth-Hands-Free-Input/dp/B009NLTW60

I'm considering buying a matte black skin from dbrand for the for the back of my soon to be mine Space Gray iPhone 6 (delivers tomorrow).

I'm also thinking about pairing it with this Spigen case (black):
http://www.amazon.com/Spigen®-CUSHION-Crystal-Cushion-Technology/dp/B00JH88D1O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1412566438&sr=8-2&keywords=spigen+iphone+6

Essentially it would be a fully blacked out iPhone when the case is on.
